hello internet people! a couple of things before we move on to the story:
i. this is my first "published" story. i'm writing it for fun, at my own rhythm trying to balance college, work and hobbies. if you end up liking it and i haven't updated it, please be patient! i WILL finish it (and that's more of a promise to myself than to you lol)
ii. english isn't my first language, i apologize in advance for any grammar/spelling mistakes.
iii. you'll notice that the fic is named after Hozier's song, 'Too Sweet'. this isn't only because of the tiktok trend... i would recommend reading the lyrics to get an insight... if you know what i mean...
iv. even if the story tries to imitate the Stardew Valley universe, i've included some of my personal headcanons and my friends' ideas into the story. please, don't take anything that i've changed personally or as an offense to the original lore. this is mere fanfiction.
v. important info: the farmer is 26 and Harvey 31. ok? ok.
