Once you arrived, a high-pitched voice filled the room as he squealed over the phone, "Hiii Daddy!" It was apparent that the three-year-old was overjoyed to see his father's face on the screen, and you couldn't help but smile at the sight of his excitement.

Toji, who was sitting on the bed of your hotel room, responded with a simple "Hi, Gumi." You both had just arrived after the Gojo fiasco, which had left you lost in thought. You couldn't help but regret leaving him by that cafe, still desperately wanting to talk to him and explain everything. You still loved him, but you weren't sure if he felt the same way.

Toji then handed you his phone, saying, "Here, say hi." As you took the phone from him, you saw Megumi's face right up against the screen, his eyes curious and excited.

"Hello, Megumi!" You greeted him with a friendly wave and a smile, eager to catch up with the little boy.

After pausing for a moment and staring at you, Megumi asked, "Daddy, who's that?" It was clear that he probably didn't remember you well. He'd only seen you your first day at the Zen'in home and at the wedding ceremony. Your heart broke into a million pieces after hearing his question, realizing that you had made little impact on the boy's life. You pouted in disbelief at the boy, feeling a little hurt but trying not to show it.

As you were caught off guard by Megumi's question, you suddenly became aware of Toji's presence at your side. You could sense his mirthful energy as his body shook with laughter, and the sound of his chuckling echoed in your ears. "Megumi, that's Y/N, the lady from a few days ago." You smiled at Toji's words, grateful for his help in introducing you to his son.

The little boy didn't seem to care much, though, his attention shifting from the phone to something else you couldn't see on the screen, causing you to let out a humbling sigh. You couldn't be mad at him, though it wasn't his fault. You just hoped that one day, you would have the chance to be a bigger part of his life.

"Sorry, Mr. Fushiguro, he started playing with his toys again." Kuroi sighed, taking the phone up off the ground.

"It's alright, we'll speak later," Toji finally says, hanging up.

Now, it was just the two of you, and there wasn't much to do. You sat on the bed in silence for a while. before Toji finally spoke up.

"Was the white-haired guy at the cafe the one you told me about?"

You pause for a moment before replying. "Yeah.. he was,"

"He seemed pretty mad." He yawns, stretches his arms, and bouncing back onto the bed.

"Well, no shit," you reply, "I didn't tell him anything,"

"Damn.." He whispers, "Do you still love him?"

"Well no," you retort sarcastically, " You're my husband,"

Toji lifts his head slightly to look up at you, a confused expression on his face. "Huh?".
