Ah yes , Hurricane , Utah , the American dream. Shopping malls , restaurants , schools , nice houses. You Name it , they had it all. I hate this job, every day I have to entertain shit heads who like to get pizza grease everywhere. I wonder which fucker I'll have to deal with today. I set up plates and balloons on a table near the main stage , *god* , I thought , *I would've LOVED this as a kid! But instead , I just got a chocolate cake from Costco and they'd call it a day* . I woke up in the morning to the sound of banging at my door , "MICHAEL AFTON WAKE UP , NOW" , my dad was pounding on my door, "it's your sister birthday party , we have to be at the pizzaplex in 10 minutes , wake up!" He wouldn't stop screaming so I had to answer him , "FINE" I argued back , I jumped out of bed and put my clothes on , I wore a grey shirt , black converse and baggy jeans. It's basic but , it's comfy. When we got in the car I put my headphones on the drain out the noises of Elizabeth , Evan , My mom and my dad singing stupid songs. I turned my phone on and played "everybody wants to rule the world" by tears for fears. When we pulled up , the first thing I saw was a mob of sweaty 9 year olds, gross. I held onto Evan's hand and strutted in , we had to check in and it took forever!! We took the elevator to the party area and to my surprise, the first person I saw, my ex.

Summer Hope.

Mike gazed at his old girlfriend , Damn, he thought , she's changed , but idk if that's in a good way or not.. He examined summer for 5 minutes until she looked up and furrowed her brows. She quickly looked back to Mrs Afton "well , if you'd like to follow me!" She lead them to their party table and the children all sat down to watch Freddy and the gang. Summer loomed in the corner talking to Matt.
Michael looked over , with a jealous look in his eyes , he slouched in his chair and crossed him arms , sucking his teeth. The girl turned to see him staring , he sharply turned away. Tsch. He muttered, turning back to watch shiny animatronics sing and dance , god this was stupid. He though , why was he at his 9 year olds sisters birthday party? He's 16! Not 5..
