It was a stormy night, rain was coming down hard as streaks of light appeared in the clouds, announcing the arrival of the loud booming. Harsh winds smacked against a poor person traversing in this kind of weather.
This poor person was you. You always had a knack for exploring, you loved seeing the world for yourself. It didn't help that for most of your life you were stuck on the islands where every human you've known was stuck on. Getting past that giant guardian was a drag too, you thought you were going to die there.
But you didn't, no, instead you made it to the land of Ooo. And on your mini adventures there, you met some amazing people! One of them being Finn the Human. The two of you would go on adventures together, going through dungeons, slaying monsters, goofing off.
Back to the fact that poor ol' you was caught up in this awful storm. What were you doing here? Well, ever since Finn first found you, you didn't have anywhere to go, so he let you stay at his place. Being the polite person you are, you helped around the house.
You had volunteered to get groceries, it was a nice day, but then suddenly the weather seemed to have a mood swing.
Finally seeing the treehouse in sight, you made it back as fast as you could. Slamming the door behind you before panting and leaning against it.
You looked up to see Finn right in front of you, who looked worried. "Dude, what the heck!? Are you okay?" He said, immediately rushing over to you to take the heavy bags you held.
You gave him a mere thumbs up, still catching your breath since you ran at full speed. He took your hand and took you to the living room to sit you down on the couch. You immediately fell onto it, "..Glob.." You said, finally getting a hold of your breathing, "The weather really doesn't like me." Finn let out a soft laugh, putting the contents of the bags away in the kitchen, "You should go wash up and get situated."
You nodded, standing up. You then saw as Jake walked in the room, "Hey Finn, your lover is back!" He playfully said, going over to the couch. You casted a glare at him as you heard Finn stutter a protest against what he said.
"Shut up, Jake, you goof." You huffed as you walked out of the room.
After a few minutes you walked back in, no longer in your wet clothes but instead in shorts and a gray tank top (Or anything else of your choice.). You walked over to the couch, seeing that Jake was playing on BMO while Finn watched.
You basically loomed over them, leaning against the couch. After a few moments, you spoke up, "Hey Jake, you should jump." You said, pointing to the little robot's screen.
"What? I don't need to-" He was instantly met with a death screen, groaning loudly. "Told ya." You said with a smirk on your face. You then looked over at Finn, who was looking at you.
"Hey Y/N, I have something I want to show you." You cast a glance out the window, seeing that it had stopped raining. Normally when Finn said he wanted to show you something, it was normally some cool dungeon he found.
You didn't know why he would want to bring you to a dungeon now that it's late, but Finn is just.. Well.. Finn. You still have some energy, so you decide to agree. "Oh yeah? Well lead the way, sir."
He looked giddy, you never saw him this happy before for a long time. The last time he looked this euphoric was when he first found you, excited to know there was another human. He kind of looked cute when he was this happy.
He took your hand into his, basically dragging you with him as he bolted out the treehouse. You tried your best to keep up, but you were never really as fast as him. You were already gasping for air the moment he dragged you into the woods and started looking around.
