I didn't even bother knocking as I opened the door to my brother's office. He looked to be in an important discussion with the dude sitting across from him but I walked towards his desk any way.

"I'm kinda in the middle of something" Saige said once he locked eyes with me. I looked over at his client before jabbing my thumb in the direction of the door.

"Aye dawg, meeting gonna be cut short today"

"Excuse me, Saige who is this"

"Skedaddle ni—Sorry Mr.Fox this is my little brother, could you give us a minute or two" Saige said cutting off my sentence. The guy looked between the two of us before rocking back and forth to jumpstart his knees.

"I guess I'll fetch me some lunch then" he rubbed his stomach as he collected some papers off the desk.

"Fetch a treadmill too, big back" I muttered causing Saige to hit my shoulder.

"I'm sorry did you say something" Mr.Fox adjusted his glasses as Saige forced a smile.

"No sir, we'll reconvene when you get back" he nodded before walking out of the room. "You lucky he has hearing problems" I plopped onto the open seat, kicking my feet up.

"Was I being rude, my bad bro"

"Irritating" he muttered. "How come you been dodging me?"

"Been busy. I'm here now tho, wassup?"

"Mom wants us to come with her to meet the divorce attorney"

"When?"

"Same weekend as tux fitting, we can extend an extra day if that's cool with you"

"Aight" I pressed up onto my feet fixing to leave.

"Hollon" I looked over at my brother as he leaned onto his desk. "We good?"

"What you talking about?"

"All this childish shit, you avoiding me" I tapped my chin. I snapped my fingers as I pointed towards him.

"Apple pay me $300 and I'll act like an adult again" he smacked his lips. "Silas you—"

"—look like the price went to $500, going once going twice..." I interrupted causing him to roll his eyes and grab his phone.

"I swear you get on my nerves" my phone dinged as the transfer hit my account. "Using me for money"

"Talk isn't cheap big bro" he shot up his middle finger as I chuckled. "But to be real with you I did feel some way when my feelings were pushed to the side on how I feel about our other sibling... You may be excited to meet him but I'm not"

He crossed his arms nodding his head as he took in what I said. Saige sometimes has a tendency to try and speak for me as If I'm not my own person. He's being doing that ever since my father put doubts in my head on if my career was ever going to take off.

"I'm sorry if I invalidated your feelings, it was never my intention." I opened my arms with a slight smirk as he smacked his lips. "Chill out with that sappy shit"
