"I got everything in the car," Zendaya said as she returned to the bedroom. "How are you feeling, darling? How's the pain?"
"It's so bad." You spoke before exhaling shakily. "I knew this wasn't going to be easy but it's so painful and it feels like it's moving fast. I'm scared."
"No, don't be scared, my love. Everything's going to be okay." She said as she rubbed your back comfortingly. "I know it's excruciating and I know you're nervous but we'll be alright."
You wanted to say something back to her but before you could, the pain returned and it was even worse than before.
It seems like it was hours ago since you woke up with a sharp pain but it wasn't long ago at all, maybe just an hour at the very most.
You weren't all that anxious to get going at the time because you know that labor usually lasts quite a while when it comes to first kids.
But your' and Zendaya's twins were in quite a hurry.
Things have picked up since it first began and fast.
You swear, you can actually start feeling the pressure that you read about that appears when your babies are almost ready to start entering the world.
It's intense, just like the pain, and you're feeling your anxiety heighten every second that you spend here instead of being in the hospital.
"Are you ready?" She asked upon feeling your grip on her hand ease, meaning that the pain had faded for just a minute.
"Yeah." You said.
"Let's go then." She smiled. "Let's go have our babies."
She helped you stand up before helping you down the stairs and out to the car.
But it took longer than a normal trip down the stairs to the car would because the pain was so intense and so close together.
"I have a bad feeling." You spoke anxiously to Zendaya as she got you out to the car.
It wasn't just because you knew it wouldn't be long until your babies would be ready to be born.
But the weather was bad too.
You could see the snowflakes coming down and on your way out to the car, you almost slipped on the ice all over the driveway.
That meant that the road was icy too.
"Oh, god," You groaned as Zendaya started the car. "Oh, it's so intense. It's not going to be long."
Zendaya's heart began to hammer against her chest.
Her confidence about getting you there in time was fading fast because she could see the pressure was getting to be overwhelming, much like the pain.
But the weather was concerning too.
With the roads covered in ice, she'd have to drive slower to make sure the four of you stayed safe, and that was going to be a huge problem.
"It'll be alright, sweet girl. We'll be okay."
She started the car and began to pull out of the driveway, slowly and carefully.
The snow was coming down heavily and fast as she drove, making her speed slower as it was hard to see.
She swore that the speedometer didn't even go over fifteen, it was just too risky to gain much speed when she couldn't see out the windshield well, and driving fast made the car swerve.
"Please, hurry," You pleaded.
"I'm trying, darling. I promise I'm trying. Take a deep breath." She said as she reached a red light.
"I can't." You spoke and gasped. "No, I can't. They're not waiting any longer."
Zendaya went wide-eyed.
She was convinced her heart was going to explode from her chest at this point, it was just pounding so fast and so hard with every beat.
"Zendaya," You groaned before looking at her. "They're coming right now."
She pulled the car over on the side of the road and put it in park before getting out of the car.
She went to the backseat and grabbed a couple of extra blankets that you both keep inside, just to always be safe during this cold weather.
She hurried to your side, almost slipping a couple of times as she raced to you.
Opening the door, she noticed that you were struggling to breathe and the pressure was more intense than ever.
"I'm going to call an ambulance." She spoke, feeling her own anxiety escalate.
She pulled her phone out of her pocket and called for help but, since the roads were so bad, they couldn't get there as fast as usual.
"They'll be here in about ten minutes." She said as she put her hand on your shoulder. "Baby, talk to me. Do you think you can wait that long?"
You shook your head, now clenching your jaw tight as you felt the need to give in to the pressure.
"Okay then." She said before taking a breath. "Give into it."
"What?" You spoke as you looked at her.
"Don't fight it anymore. If you feel that urge, give in to it. I'm right here with you."
"You're going to deliver our babies?" You asked in shock and she nodded before kissing your forehead.
Pulling your sweats down, she rubbed your shoulder soothingly.
"Do it, darling. Let's have our babies. You can do this. Give into it."
You took a deep breath and then did as she said, knowing that it was time and there was no fighting it anymore.

By the time the ambulance arrived, your twins had too.
When Zendaya saw the sirens as the ambulance pulled up, your second baby had just entered the world.
"There we go." She grinned through her tears. "Oh, goodness, you two were in a hurry. And you have quite the set of lungs on you!"
The paramedics helped you out of the car and onto the stretcher before putting you in the ambulance.
They looked you over as well as your sons to find that all three of you were in fantastic condition.
"Congratulations to you both." One of them smiled. "You have two very healthy sons."
Zendaya grinned as you both relished in how perfect your sons were.
"They're perfect." You sniffled. "Oh, my gosh. Zendaya, look at them."
"I know, they're the cutest." She grinned as she held one and you held the other.
"Thank you." You spoke as you reached over to squeeze her shoulder. "You did an amazing job back there."
"Me?" She chuckled. "You're the one that brought two little humans into the world within ten minutes. That's insane, baby!"
You laughed as she kissed your forehead.
"I'm proud of you."
"I'm proud of you too. You delivered our little boys and helped keep me calm through it while, somehow, doing the same."
"I thought I was going to have a heart attack for a moment there." She laughed. "But I'm so happy that they're here and that all three of you are healthy."
"Did you hear those screams?" You joked. "They have some lungs on them."
"Oh, yeah." She giggled. "Our precious boys."
You kissed her lips and admired your little boys, knowing they were as perfect as can be.
"Welcome to the world. You gave us quite the story to tell. Wait until you're old enough to hear it." She grinned as your heart melted, so grateful for your beautiful family.
