You panicked as soon as she started to lean in for a kiss. And just like you have every time before, you put your hand on her chest and pushed her away.

It wasn't that you didn't wanna kiss her because that simply wasn't the case. But Zendaya is your first serious girlfriend and you've never been kissed before.

You never missed the look of sadness in her eyes when you'd push her back. She tried to play it off and act like it was okay. At the end of the day, she was never gonna push you into something you were uncomfortable with, and for some reason, you seemed to be uncomfortable with this.

"I'm sorry." You apologized, again. Zendaya shook her head at you. "It's-" "Please don't say it's okay. You say that every time." She sighed and tangled her hand in her hair. "This is really embarrassing for me to say, but you deserve to know. The reason why I keep pulling away is that... I've never been kissed before."

Zendaya's eyes went wide. "I've just never found someone I've wanted to do something so special and intimate with. Until you came along, that is."

You watched a smile tug at her lips. She was trying to hide it but you could see the red tint to her cheeks. "Really?" You nodded, biting the inside of your cheek nervously. "But I'm scared that I won't be good enough."

You lowered your gaze to the blue polish on your nails. Zendaya put two of her fingers under your chin and gently tilted it up. Your eyes locked with hers and she was giving you a warm smile.

"You will be." She brushed her thumb across your cheek. "C-Can you teach me?" She felt her heart racing in her chest. She nodded her head and started to lean in. "It's only me, okay?" You took a deep breath and closed your eyes and just a few seconds later, you felt her lips just barely brush yours.

She was a little hesitant at first, but when you moved your lips against hers she melted against you. You felt her kiss you back and the feeling of her lips on yours made your heart go wild. She cupped the back of your neck, wanting to keep you as close as possible.

"You did amazing." She smiled, her hands now resting on your sides. Her fingertips absentmindedly traced shapes onto your skin. You were smiling bigger than ever before.

You know waiting for this moment was so worth it. You really did get to share it with someone special, someone who cares about you more than words could ever say.

"Can we do it again?" Zendaya chuckled and kissed your cheek. She brushed her nose with yours, her breath fanning on your lips. "You don't even need to ask." She winked and pulled you back in for another kiss, this one even better than the last. You fell even harder for her that night, and she did the same with you.
