Glitch Centroplex - Afternoon

Nate opened the middle set of double doors leading inside the complex, once inside an eruption of colour reflected off the shiny walls and surface of the building. Neon lights: Blue, Pink and Purple hanged on the walls over doorways indicating different areas and attractions! The main entrance was an open space connecting all four zones on the ground floor with stairs and escalators leading up to the other two floors. Nate and Oliver moved through the open turnstiles and walked over to the empty front desk. The place appeared to be empty not a soul in sight. Oliver leaned over the desk to see a computer on its Home Screen. Clearly someone was manning the reception but no one was presently stationed there upon their arrival.
"We are finally here, don't screw this up for us Oliver." Nate hissed. "Act more cheerful." Oliver felt insulted but knew Nate spoke truthfully, he wasn't an optimist by any means and rarely showed any excitement for anything. Oliver gave Nate a gigantic smile, sarcastically of course and looked the other way.

*DING*

The Elevator chimed as the doors opened. Three people walked out, A man and woman wearing matching uniforms and in between them a young man with blue hair and expensive black suit, on his lapel was a badge with the 'Glitch Entertainment' Logo on it. The three walked out. The two Centroplex workers were panicking through their many clipboards in their hands as the man in the middle spoke to them. As they approached, the man with blue hair waved his hands, the gesture Oliver recognised as 'Shoo'. The other two hurried off into separate areas of the ground floor.
"Greetings, sorry for the delay! Staff are attending maintenance for tomorrow's opening. Sorry if the place isn't operating as it should, I'm sure you gentleman understand." The man said.
Nate blushed, and his voice begun to stutter.
"No- Not...t...t at all! M...Mr Blueberry." Nate hesitantly said!
Oliver wasn't too big on following then rise of the company. But Nate clearly had done his research on the car journey to the Centroplex.
"I'm Brandon Blueberry." The Blue haired man announced. "I'm the Head of Operations at Glitch Entertainment and help manage this facility, I was brought on by Mr Nicholas after the Centroplex project was approved by President Frederick. He took an immediate liking to my work ethic and I oversaw the construction of this site."
Nate shook his hand and Oliver followed suit.
"A pleasure, I've neared of your rise through the ranks. Nobody has been promoted so quickly through Glitch." Nate said in awe of Blueberry's anecdote.
Blueberry checked the two men in on the reception computer.
"Right this way." He took them up the escalators and threw the facility to the staff zone located at the back of the top floor.

The colour palette of 'The Employees Only Zone' was less bright and colourful with the neon lighted walls moving to an orange and red haze.
"So your last name's Blueberry, I find that hard to believe." Oliver said, laughing.
Nate covertly nudged Oliver's side, causing a brief moment of pain. Nate gave him a stern look of disapproval. Brandon turned around in a flash facing Oliver smiling. "I grew up in the slums of Joe Land with no family or last name to tie me to any relatives. I got called all sorts of names from the cruel residents there. One day I decided to embrace it choose something for my self 'Blueberry' in the end here I stand in front of you working in a leadership for a company where the profits are beginning to rival even that of the FMC Government. What do you say to that Mr Oliver... Who."
Blueberry hadn't shouted but his voice was stern and full of passion.
"Oliver... it's just Oliver."
Brandon gave a solitary laugh. "Ha. Don't try that again."
Nate apologised in behalf of his friend and asked when the interview would happen. Brandon explained how it would have to be immediately as Mr Nicholas was a very busy man and agreed to partake in this interview because President Frederick advocated strongly for it.
"If I'm not mistaken though the agreement was for President Frederick to be present during the interview as well." Nate said to Blueberry who was frog marching ahead to the back office.
"It was, not to worry." Blueberry turned his head. "He's already here!"
They had turned the last corner and stopped at the foot of the next hallway where neon text on the wall glowing orange read. 'CEO Office.'
