Sadie's pov

"Who told you that?" My dad said

"Y'all's actions. I don't want to be somewhere I feel threatened."

"What makes you feel that way?" Ashley said

"Everyone trying to hurt hunter."

"Sadie... I told you I was on your side." Ashley said

"I know, I have to go to college next semester so I'll be leaving then anyway."

I went up to my room at started packing then Ashley walked in.

" will you at least tell me where you're going?" Ashley asked on the verge of tears

"Don't need to start crying. Louisiana with Hunter then on tour hopefully. Why do you care so much?"

"I'm on your side Sadie, I want to see my niece or nephew, Unlike our brother." Ashley said

Hunters pov

"Mr.McCreery can I talk to you?"

"Hunters what's going on? You never call me, ever since you were little you called me Mike." Sadie's dad said

"This is important, can we go on the porch?"

"Sure" Mike said

Once we got on the porch I started talking

"Sir, I was planning on doing this before I found out I was becoming a dad. No I'm not asking to marry your daughter right now, but sometime down the road I will. I love your daughter and I want to give her this promise ring, to promise her that I'll always be there and I'll replace it with a engagement ring later down the road when we're both ready."

"Your parents, Judy and I saw this coming long before you and Sadie did. I didn't expect it to happen like this but I knew it would eventually."

*hours later at hunter's house*
Sadie's pov

"Mom, dad. I have another gift for you." Hunter said

"Well what is it son?" Mr.Hayes said

Hunter looked at me and he wrapped his arm around my waist and said

"You're going to be grandparents"

"What? When?" Mrs.Hayes said

"The night before tour started." I said

"So 2-3 months along?" Mrs.hayes said

"Yeah around there, we don't know how far along I am"
