Itafushi Oneshots

Megumi's POV:

It has been 5 days since Gojo-sensei revealed to us that Itadori was alive and well. Of course, both Kugisaki and I were shocked since we thought that Itadori was dead. I haven't spoken to him yet, since I was still upset about the whole thing. He died right in front of me! How can he survive the damage and the brutality of what Sukuna did to his body? I know that I'm still not close to Itadori, but his death somehow affected me.

*A couple of hours later*

I ate my dinner without speaking to anyone. Gojo said that he was worried about me. I told him that there was nothing to worry about. After that, I went to my room and read a couple of books to tire myself. Suddenly, my consciousness was drifting away and I didn't realize that I already fell asleep.
I opened my eyes and saw that I was at the same place where Sukuna took over Yuji. Where Sukuna dug his hands onto Itadori's chest and ripped his heart out. Where I got beaten up by Sukuna. Where Yuji died right in front of me. It was hell.

I shot straight up and looked at my surroundings. Sure enough, I was still in my room. It was just a nightmare. I felt sweat dripping from my face and tears were forming in my eyes. I looked at my clock and saw that it was 1:09 in the morning. I was craving some water, so I stood up and opened the door and walked up to the kitchen. It was quiet, but not too quiet. I heard some noise in the kitchen. I peeked at the corner. I saw Yuji hoarding the fridge. Maybe he was still hungry? I didn't want to approach him yet though. I was about to go back to my room, when I suddenly heard my name.

3rd Person's POV:

"Oi Fushiguro!! I didn't know you were here!" Yuji said, happiness was visible in his voice. Of course, Yuji missed him. Megumi didn't even try to approach and talk to him. It made him upset. He didn't want to let this opportunity go away.
"Hmm, yeah. I was about to get some water." Megumi replied. Oh how much he have missed his voice.
"What are you doing here?" Megumi continued.
"I was just getting some snacks. I'm still a bit hungry after dinner, hehe." Yuji chuckled to himself. Megumi just wanted to hug the boy and never let him go. He was on the brink of breaking down, and Yuji noticed this. He approached the raven haired boy slowly.
"Hey Fushiguro, are you okay?" Yuji asked, cupping his hands onto Megumi's face. He saw tears forming in Megumi's eyes.
"Ah! What happened, Fushi?" Yuji asked. He was concerned on why Megumi was crying. For Megumi, he was shocked by the sudden nickname. He started tearing up more.
Yuji then felt a pair of hands wrap around his neck. Megumi was hugging him. He didn't know what to do, so he hugged back. He slithered his hands to Megumi's waist and pulled him closer. Megumi started crying more, clinging onto Yuji. Yuji's hoodie started to soak up Megumi's tears, but he didn't care. All he cared about right now was the raven haired boy.
"How are you still alive?! Your heart got ripped out of you, right in front of me!" Megumi screamed at him. He wanted answers.
"I'm sorry, Fushi. Ms. Ieiri managed to heal me. Gojo-sensei decided to train me in secret 'cause, I don't know. I'm really sorry, Gumi." Yuji explained, hugging Megumi tighter.
"I missed you." Megumi whispered, though it was loud enough for Yuji to hear.
"I missed you too." Yuji replied.
"Can we stay like this, a bit longer?" Megumi asked. He didn't want to let go. He didn't want Yuji to die again. He wanted to keep him safe.
"Of course, Gumi. I would never leave your side again. I promise." Yuji exclaimed, smiling. Megumi smiled back.

After a while, Yuji noticed that Megumi fell asleep. He chuckled to himself and carried Megumi to his room. He placed him onto the bed and covered him with a blanket. He also made himself comfortable in the bed. He started admiring Megumi's features. He felt himself also getting tired. He kissed the raven haired boy's forehead and hugged him. He then fell asleep.
