"No gun will travel reach a far of a man! A knight without armor in a savage land!" As we all sang while walking to get to Back Harlow Road with our stomachs grumbling, we kept moving on. "Hey who's got the food I'm starving?" Vern said "Oh shit, did anyone bring anything." "Nope." "Not me" Both Chris and Gordie said. "Great, this is great what are we supposed to do. Eat our feet." "Wait, you didn't bring anything either." Chris said to me. "Well, no it wasn't my idea, it was Vern's idea." Hey, don't blame everything on me, What am I supposed to think of everything!? I brought the comb." "Great you brought a comb why did you bring a comb you don't even have any hair." "I mainly brought it for you!" "Hey girls, let's see how much money we have." Chris said to make Vern and I stop fighting. We sat down on the tracks to count how much money we had. "Ok let's see. 68 cents from Chris. 60 cents from Teddy." Gordie said while giving him the money. "Vern." Vern hesitated to give the money but he did anyway. "7 cents Vern?" I can't believe Vern only had 7 cents. "What. I haven't found my pennies yet." "Well, 2.50 isn't bad. There's a store near the junk yard we can go to." Gordie explains to us all. "Train comin'" Chris says to us. Everyone hops off the tracks but I stay on them. "Teddy what are you doing?" Chris said to me. "Train dodge. Dig it." "Get the hell of the tracks Teddy do you want to get yourself killed! "Just like the beach in Normandy." I stood there on the tracks ready to dodge the train. Next thing you know is Chris is pulling me off the tracks. "No! Stop I could of dodge it you son of a bitch! Stop." I yelled at Chris as the train goes by us. "What the hell was the dude. Did you want to get yourself killed?!" Chris said. I just looked at him. "I could of dodged it." "Listen man you can dodge it in the way back." He turned me around as I was walking away. "I'm sorry. Skin it." I just looked at him in disgust. "Skin it!" He said. I skinned it any was. We all just kept walking without a sound.
