Third person's POV
"So, have you had a change of heart?" Tarun asked, his tone laced with a hint of mockery as he watched Drishti struggle to compose herself.
"Don't think for a moment that you can manipulate me." Drishti shot back, her voice betraying a hint of fear amidst her determination.
Tarun's laughter echoed in the dimly lit cafe, sending a chill down Drishti's spine. "You still don't understand, do you? Your family's fate lies in my hands now and once you leave this place, it will be too late." He replied, his voice dripping with arrogance.
Drishti's resolve faltered as she glanced down at the legal documents clutched tightly in her grasp. She knew that Tarun's threats were not empty. Despite her inner turmoil, she couldn't bear to see her loved ones suffer any further. With a heavy heart, she made a difficult decision.
"You think you've won, don't you?" She whispered, her voice trembling with a combination of anger and defeat.
Tarun's smirk only widened, "Oh, I know I've won." He replied, his voice filled with triumph. He knew that he had won, but the victory tasted bitter on his tongue. Deep down, he couldn't shake the feeling of guilt that gnawed at him, but he pushed it aside, knowing that he is doing it for the sake of their families' unity.
"Fine!" She finally conceded, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'll marry you. But know this, Mr. Malhotra, I'll never forgive you for this."
With those words, Drishti turned away, her heart heavy with the weight of her decision.
Tarun's expression softened for a moment, betraying a hint of remorse. "I understand. It's not easy for either of us, but it's necessary. And remember, this stays between us. No need to involve anyone else." He said, his tone tinged with guilt.
Ignoring his words, Drishti walked away, feeling defeated. Yet, deep down, she knew she was doing it for her family's sake, and that thought gave her strength.

With the wedding just a week away, preparations were in full swing. Both families, except for the bride and groom, were buzzing with excitement for the upcoming wedding.
