The first dreaded month of school was over. Everyone had settled down, well most of them. And it was finally time for the crunch for the GCSE's and A-level students to start working. They only had 7 months until they began. Freya and Delilah had started to make their revision sources in the summer so they were more prepared, unlike some people called Jordan Wilson who hadn't even turned up to school for the last month. Freya was kind of glad tho because it meant Delilah wasn't shaken every-time they saw him.

Freya was sat in the library after school to catch up on some homework she missed in History before a familiar chirpy voice sat down next to her.

"Guess who's got us invited to a party!" Delilah squealed as she sat beside her best-friend.
"D, I hate to break it to you but nobody likes us-" Freya was stopped by a smug looking group of boys standing behind her best-friend.

"I don't like you? Where have you got that from ay?" Cory Wilson said as he stood with his hands in his trouser pockets as Riz and their other friends smiled.
"Your party? Great." Freya exaggerated the 't' in great as she began to pack up her things to leave.
"Come on Frey let's just go, pleaseeee." Delilah said as she knew her friend couldn't resist her.

Freya looked at Delilah, then at Riz and she knew this would be a chance for Delilah to make a move and hopefully get over Jordan.Part of the reason Freya hated Cory as much as she did was because he never scolded Jordan for the way he treated Delilah, and she was more then sure he wouldn't do the same to Riz.

"Fine, what time's it start?" Freya said as she linked arms with Delilah, who was beaming.
"Cory said be there at 7." Delilah said as her and her friend began to walk out the library.

"Be there Frey!" Cory shouted out as the two girls walked away, leaving him and his friends.

"This is ridiculous, I'm happy for you n all but I have nothing to wear D!" Freya said as her already dolled up friend sat on her bed as she rummaged through her wardrobe.
"Wear that nice black dress I bought you back from Spain that one year, makes you look curvy." Delilah said as she winked at her friend.

Freya laughed as she got the black dress out and laid it on her bed before sitting down and letting Delilah finish curling her hair, as D was the hair stylist in the friendship.

"You reckon Jordan will be there?" Delilah asked her friend as she finished curling the last piece on her head, before sighing and laying back on Freya's bed.
"It's his house D, of course he will but I'm here and I won't let him do anything." Freya said trying to be a comfort to her friend.
"My bloody life saver." Delilah said as she checked the time on her phone and the numbers 7:30 smacked her straight in the face.

Delilah jumped off her friends bed and practically ran down the stairs with a very not happy Freya following her aswell. The two looked at Freya's mum passed out on the sofa and just sighed and walked out the door. Cory lived on the other side of Ackley which meant a semi- long walk was ahead of the girls.

"I don't know why we can't just get a taxi." Delilah whined as the two walked up the hill in front of Cory's house.
"Taxi's cost money, which we don't have." Freya reminded her friend of where about they live.

The two laughed as they finally reached Cory's house, a few people were already throwing up in his garden and the door was wide open to some chavvy songs playing. Freya sighed as her friend practically dragged her through the door.

"The famous Frey finally made it?" Cory Wilson smirked as he approached Freya as her friend Delilah had already gone to find the drinks.
"I'm only here because of D." Freya said as she sarcastically smiled back at Cory.
"I'm gonna pretend that's not the truth and pretend your here for me." Cory said as he swung his arm over Freya and walked her into the living room.

Freya gave up telling Cory to lay off and frankly she didn't wanna blow this for Delilah so she just allowed Cory to do it, even though she loathed him. Cory led her over to the drinks where Riz and Delilah were already making out, which to Freya's surprise made her smile.

"What'd you want?" Cory said as he poured his own drink, grabbing an extra cup for Freya.
"I'm not fussy." Freya said, keeping an eye out for Jordan anywhere.

Cory knew exactly what she was doing, he sighed before handing her the drink he made for her.

"He's not here Frey." Cory said as he put his arm back round her and took a sip of his drink.
"Good." Freya said as she too sipped her drink.

Freya stood for a minute as she absorbed her surroundings, she noticed Cory was already a little bit tipsy, well actually he was absolutely drunk. He couldn't stand up properly and he was slurring every word by the time they'd both finished their second drinks. Lightweight. Well that was until she looked over to the kitchen side and saw Cory and Riz's pre drinks. Typical.

"Think you need to go to bed." Freya said as she struggled to be Cory's leaning post for much longer.
"Piss of Frey it's only eleven." Cory said as he tried to walk off but fell harshly into the table.

Everyone laughed but Freya as she just had that smug 'I told you so' look on her face before her and Riz helped him up.

"Mind taking him up?" Riz said to Freya as he nodded behind him at Delilah.
"Yeah no problem." Freya pretended to smile.

There was a huge problem. She hit her tongue and put her arm around Cory as she led him to the stairs, all whilst he mumbled some illiterate words that only aliens could understand. Freya panted as she finally reached the top of the stairs and practically threw Cory onto his bed.

"Want me to get everyone to leave?" Freya asked as she stood with her hands on her hips trying to catch her breath.
"Frey." Cory said as she sat up in his bed, staring at her with a sorrow look on his face.

Freya groaned and sat on the end of his bed. This could either be about one of two things.

"Yes man-whore." Freya laughed attempting to lighten the mood, which failed.
"I did tell Jord off, and Riz won't do what he did to D I made sure of it." Cory said as he shut his eyes and rested his head on his pillow.

Freya looked at Cory and sighed before standing up and heading to his bedroom door. She gripped the handle and looked back at Cory.

"If he does I'll have to cut his throat, your brother disrespected her Cory. Sex isn't child's play." Freya said as she opened the door, leaving without hearing what Cory had to say.
