chapter3- exhausted and devastated

Luke was pondering who was it, and to confirm he went close by,
he was horrified to see that the person laying there was Patrick,his best boo...
To know the reason behind this, he asked the nurse who was checking on him.

Luke - when was he admitted? And why is he in this state?
Nurse - well, simmer down. Who are you? Do you know him?
Luke- Oh, I eat crow!..yes, I knew him he is my best friend. I am Luke.
Nurse - Well, to be honest. Your bestie is in critical condition right at the moment, and I can say in one word he is in the coma stage and he has been admitted to the hospital since 18th February.
Luke- well do you know any further details about it. Where did you take him from?

Nurse- oh I slipped my mind.hold a horse. Let me check his medical report.

Luke- can you please go through briskly and let me await your response.

Nurse - oh, I gotcha. He has been admitted since the 18th Tuesday of February at 9:00a.m... we picked him from a scary building. I guess that place is! Ops they have not mention the place in the medical report and it's our fault on that day it was a rush hour and your bestie had to undergo surgery and it's been a month he is in hospital. So far, no one came to check on him, but luckily, you came today.

Luke- oh, I see.much obliged.and it's not your fault. It's my mistake that I did not check on him as yet!...(his voice was apprehension)

Nurse - I comprehend you, mr.boy. Do not get brood that you didn't search for him maybe it's his bad luckily you found him. Be strong😇.

Luke- I really appreciate your help and support. Let me take my leave first take care of him (said in a heartbroken tone) Adieu!

Nurse- you too, sweetie 😘.

After sometimes when the nurse was turning back to see a woman approaching towards her to see, it was none other than detective Tiffany.

Tiffany- Hola! How is he doing now? and did anyone come to visit him at least today?....

Nurse- Hola. He is doing the same, no changes. Yeah, just a few moments back, a boy named Luke was here.

Tiffany , do you know the relationships between them and any other further details about him?!

Nurse- yes he said that Patrick is his best friend and he asked me for information about him and I don't know much more about him and he was terrified and left with worries.

Tiffany - oh well. Do your utmost to save him. Thank you for the material. I have to leave now. Bye-bye!

Nurse - My pleasure. Adios, madam!!

On the same side, Luke was returning with agonize and
Mourned that he didn't even look for his bestie and felt like a trash can.

Luke reached the house, and the place was a total mess,so he was cleaning for the change of his mind. While he was cleaning the rack, he did not notice there was a box on the top of the rack and without even realizing the box fell down. And he got cross that he has to clean it again. While he was picking the things one by one, he saw a grimed cover notebook.He did not care, and he dusted it and kept it in bookshelf, and it was all most sunset. He was worn out, and he ran out of food in the refrigerator.He was hella pissed that he had to go to the grocery shop to restock it
"Urgggg the hella day."He thought to himself and about to go outside from the housethen pops his mind that his car with Jackson and he even forgets about it. His phone was ringing...to be seen it was Jackson. He answered the call.
Jackson- hola bruh, are you okay? How is that lady?any issues? And how did you come by?

Luke- ah hola. Well, it was an eventual day, and yes, I'm doing okay and have no issues, and I completely slipped mind that my car is with you, and I came by subway.

Jackson- ah pleased.well as it is a day off tomorrow why don't we go outing? If you are fatigued by today's happenings, no worries, we can plan it on some other days. If you are okay with it I can give you a ride to you because your car is with me.

Luke - oh, it is a great idea you've come up with!. Yeah sure I'm worn out, but I'll boost energy for tomorrow, and what is time you are leaving from the house?

Jackson - Oh yeah, I forget about the time. I'll leave my home by 9:00a.m. cause you have to take rest well and yes we shall go by morning and return by night. And the placesss.....

Luke- OMO.my apologies why don't we discuss the place in the car . Only 17% charge is left in my phone and if there is anything well known places you know. DM me

Jackson - oh yeah, bye sure.ill give a text for you.

As Luke phone got switched off,
he charged his phone and went to the grocery shop by walking,
and on the other hand, he was in his nerve. While he was done his shopping and returning to the home he sense that someone is following him he turned back there was no one and he did not give single shit care about it as he was worn out and he heard a noise .....
