chapter 4- better day with mate

He was not ready to go in search of the noise. But he went to see an old man has fallen. He gave his hand to him, and he returned to home. It was almost dinner time, and the moon was shining brightly in the night sky.  he was having his finger licking good dinner!..//huh I'm in heaven. No food tastes better than homemade food// he thought to himself and went to veranda and warmth of the cool breeze, smell of the natural and he was sighting the glowing yellowy moon. He said to himself, "Indeed, I deserve this after all. I had a long day today. Let me reward myself. ".... and he went to hit the sack

The next day, he awakened early, but still, he felt sleeply. He chose an attire for an outing with Jackson. Jackson was waiting down in the car, and Luke came, and he sat in the passenger seat and seated the belt.

Jackson- OHAYO! How was your night, and how are you feeling today(energetic voice)

Luke- _ohayooo!!_  It was okay, and I had a quiet night at home and rested, but I'm hoping for a better day ahead!  How about yours and did you plan the places?.

Jackson - it was great! I had a relaxing evening and got a good night's sleep and yep, I have planned. Why don't we first go to a restaurant to have our brekkie, secondly let's go skating rink,thirdly let's do cycling,fourthly let's play video games,.......

Luke- ah fine fine, I'm starving to death. Let's grab our brekkie first. The brekkie is on me.

Jackson -[with light chuckle] fine fine, bruh...

*First stop is to the restaurant.*

They went inside and took a seat for themselves.

Luke- what shall we order ahamm what about we order spicy or....

Jackson - Stop it Luke one day, you will have a hard time with gastritis due to having spicy foods every time. As it is morning let's go to light foods.. This time, let's try different foods.. let me choose it.

Luke - Sure thing, chum!... Because it is on me. Don't order too much. Okay, I got it(funny tone). Waiterrrr!(he bawled)

Waiter-yes! What would you like to start with.

Luke- I like to go with pancakes, sweet bread, and scone, and for the desert, I like to have banoofee pie and bakewell tart. For the beverages, let me choose hot chocolate. Thank you and jackson. Order it for you(sarcastic funny voice).

Jackson - well, I like to order full Irish breakfast and shepherd's pie. For the desert, let me choose sticky toffee pudding Eton mess for the beverages. Could I get a strawberry milkshake with partial whipped cream in it.

Waiter - your food will be served within 20 minutes....

Waiter- here is your delicious foods!!

Jackson- thank you. Can I have my bill, please

Waiter- pleasure enjoy it. Sure thing. I'll get it for you within a min

Luke- ohhh, my food is waiting for mee Let me grab a bite.

Jackson - slow down luke the food is all yours. No one is gonna take your food.

Luke-sure thing. Ah, you know these days there are murderers taking place in our city. So scary, isn't it?..

Jackson- oh Lukee, can you please zip your mouth and eat without ruining my day and our outing. Stop talking rubbish and start feeding your stomach. (Said it in a furious tone).

Luke- ah fine fine, I just informed you to be cautious!!!

Jackson- ah, look, a mature person is talking .you better be cautious, you dumbo!

Author's pov:
They had some humour conversations while they were eating, and so far, the day was going better. They are done eating.

Luke- I'm stuffed. After having brekkie, I am as fat as a pig!

Jackson - Oh yeah, then you could have eaten less, and the food is more way delicious. No words are enough to describe it!.

Luke - oh well, fine. You're so mean, jackyyy, and yeah, the food was luscious. 🤤😋

Jackson- okay lets go to the second place in our plan.

Luke- why don't we do cycling in my point of view? I think that skating cycling is good.

Jackson- oh c'mon in this hot scorching sun 🤯who will go cycling and the people will do cycling in evening time and let's go to park and then go to mall....

Luke - fine, fine, let me go according to your plan you insane!!....🫥🫡

Author's pov: The day went as they scheduled, and the fun part in their outing was the horror movie they watched. The horror movie was suggested by Jackson, and Luke was not okay with it as he was afraid of ghosts nevertheless, ending up in watching it.Luke gave a ride to Jackson's house.

Luke- thank you, bruh, for making my day, and I had great fun and made unforgettable memories. You'll regret making me embarrassed today in the theatre..urgggg!!!😬🤥

Jackson - Oh yeah!well, i guess I have some goofy pictures of you while you were making such a huge noise in the theatre(said in a funny tone)😂.. you too bye bye lets meet tomorrow

Luke- you asshole!!!  _see ya!_

Author's pov:
Luke forgot that his best friend was in hospital. While Luke was driving his remembered the memories of his bestie, and then suddenly he thought, "Oh my gosh! My bestie is in hospital, and I didn't even pay a visit today. " Then thankfully, he visited him, and on his way, he heard that some detectives are inquiring about Patrick.. he got a call while he was talking he went to the car park and drove his car to the home. He was going to drink water. Hopefully, he thinks back to those detectives. While he was going to Patrick's room, he tripped his toe and fell down with the light weighted bookshelf.//ouch ouch the hell day//. He cleaned the mess and saw a trimmed cover notebook, which he saw yesterday, but he did not care about that notebook. His mind was warning him to open the book and go through it. He controlled himself. Thus, he cannot. He opened it and the cover page of the book was written in italic form *"PATRICK'S SECRET INFO"* when he went through it he found some facts related to the murder cases and another shocking fact he found was his best friend was the *captain of Alpha team 010 which is a detective team* that handles top most confidential cases. He thought to research everything in detail tomorrow as he was weary, and he snooze off on the couch😴........
