Chapter 5- sick day🤥

When he woke up, it was almost noon,
and he took the day off to the office since he was not feeling well.
He consulted Doctor.
He was couch potato, and at the same time, he was bored.
Instantaneously, he recalls Patrick's book.
He thought of researching the details in the book
when he found the fact that he was surprised that those are the facts related to murder cases and some were related to ongoing murderers.
The deatils, which were in the book, were similar and with slight differences, and the information was not that brief.
His curiosity built at this moment, and he was enthusiastic to find the villain.
After much deliberation, he thought to handle the case top secret and should not spill the beans to anybody, including jackson.
In the deatils, Patrick's has made some jot points to search the murders and he has finished except the last point, which the fact-finding spot was the morgue.
When he was about to open the door, out of blue, Jackson was standing right in front of the doorstep. As soon after he saw jacskon, he was in pin and needles.
Jackson- oh buddy,can i come in?[he snapped with his finger]

Luke - oh yeah,yeah, sure, come in!.

Then he hurriedly closed the door of patrick's room.

Luke- you visited my house, i was bolt of blue!.😳

Jackson - yeah, you did not come to the office, and I was worried that something had happened to you, so i pondered to take a visit to you and my fault that i did not inform you cause i was as busy as bee urgh!🥺😩

Luke- Oh yeah, even me, i did not apprise you. Today, i was feeling nauseous, so i did not come to the office, and yeah, so what's next?

Jackson- aham, nothing, and ohh, i slipped my mind🫨 as boss is going on a trip, tomorrow is holiday. I feel like im gonna have peace, sleep as it is pouring out, and yeah, last night it was raining cats and dogs. 😶‍🌫🌧️❄️

Luke- oh jakson, you just gave me pleasant news,even if i can rest since im under the weather. Well, was it raining last night cause i was snoozed off like nothing that i had no energy to change my attire, and i slept in my couch. 🙂‍↔

Jackson - Oh yeah, it was!.. then luke ill take my leave on here since you are feeling sick. i dont wanna disturb you and bye see you in the office. Hope you take care of your health, my dear brother!😊🫶🏻[sweet tone]

Luke-aww, im touched by your words. Sure thing, I'll care about my health, and yeah, see you in the office. Bye-bye,you too take care!❤️.

//looks like my schedule is packed for tomorrow// he thought to himself. Abruptly, the phone was ringing to be seen it was Luke's Aunt Li.

Luke- Hello Aunty. How are you doing? im sorry that i did not take a call or visit you these days cause i was busy. [Said in a worried tone]

Aunt Li- aam, i was doing good, and you unlce jiang has passed away this morning cause of heart attack. [Whipping tone]

Luke- whatt! OH no! I'll come to the funeral and my deepest condolence for the sudden loss of my uncle.
[Grief tone]

Then he visited the death of his uncle and went shopping as he was running out of bakery products.
On his way, he saw a grandpa struggling to walk, and he lent his hand to him.

Luke- Grandpa, let me help you, and can i know where you stop.

Grandpa- oh young boy, thank you. i live nearby.

Luke - what a coincidence! Even i live nearby.

Grandpa- thank you, young boy. may you live long!😄

Luke- pleasure!😚

While he was going, he bumped with a black mask guy.//sorry//. Luke did not care about it as he was worn out and texting to his aunt li. When he returned home, then at a flash, he recalled the black mask guy. //who cares, maybe his street outfit//. He entered home, then the glass was shattered into pieces, and the bookshelf was messed up

//what the hell is happened here. Is my house robbed? Ah, no way, i haven't closed the window of my varranda, maybe because of the wind. Then what about the bookshelf and unexpectedly a cat was on his varranda//. He was frightened because of the white injured cat. He thought that books were on the floor because of the cat.
//oh no, you're troublesome cat you have messed up my bookshelf//
he noticed that the blood was flowing through its leg, and he cured it. He cleaned the messed took a long sight, and said, "i had a long day today," and he was wondering a name to address the cat, and then he addressed it as "smokeyy." //hey smokeey im Luke and your best buddy//. It was just going ignoring his words. //how rude of you// then he went to end up his day by stretching his body and jumping into the bed.🙃
