Working in a family-owned mechanic shop during the sweltering days of summer had its perks, and for Bellatrix, one of them was the ability to wear a bikini top without anyone batting an eye. With the sun beating down outside and the garage feeling like an oven, practicality won out over convention.

Bellatrix donned her favorite bikini top, its vibrant colors a welcome contrast to the grease and grime of the workshop. She paired it with a pair of denim shorts and black american eagle flip flops, ready to tackle whatever the day threw her way.

Our Reaper Princess sat in the office, a Marlboro dangling from the corner of her mouth as she pressed the landline phone to her ear, frustration evident in her tone. "Look, lady, I'm not trying to up-sell you," she said, her voice tinged with exasperation. "Your car literally had no oil in it when it got here! My husband brought the stupid thing in on the wrecker the other day."

She listened to the response on the other end, her brow furrowing in annoyance. "Yes, I understand that's an additional cost, but without oil, your engine's gonna seize up tighter than a drum. Trust me, you don't want that."

Bellatrix leaned back in her chair, taking a drag from her cigarette before continuing the conversation, determined to ensure the customer understood the seriousness of the situation.Bellatrix's tone hardened as she responded to the customer's attitude. "Well, if you're going to speak to me that way, I can tell my boys to stop working on your car and leave you up Schitt's Creek without a paddle," she said firmly. "We're just trying to help you out here. It's your choice if you want to take it or leave it." She paused, waiting for the customer's response, ready to stand her ground.

Bellatrix sighed in relief as the customer finally relented. "Alright, your car will be ready in three hours. I'll have somebody reach out when it's done," she said, glad to have resolved the situation. She hung up the phone and leaned back in her chair, taking a moment to collect herself before getting back to work. Tig could hear his wife's frustration, as he stepped into the garage. He looked over to happy, " Is she okay?" he said, confused .

Happy glanced up from the engine he was working on and shrugged. "Just another day at the shop, man. You know how she gets when people start giving her attitude," he said, wiping his hands on a rag. Tig nodded, knowing all too well how passionate Bellatrix could get about her work. He walked over to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Everything okay, babe?" he asked, concern evident in his voice. Bellatrix looked up at him, a small smile forming on her lips. "Yeah, just dealing with a difficult customer. Nothing I can't handle," she said, grateful for Tig's support.

Bellatrix looked up from her paperwork as the door to the office swung open, revealing a woman with a stormy expression. She recognized her as the customer she had spoken to earlier on the phone, the one with the car trouble.

The woman stormed up to the desk, her eyes flashing with anger. "You! Are you the one I spoke to on the phone?" she demanded, pointing an accusatory finger at Bellatrix.

Bellatrix remained calm, though she could feel her blood starting to boil. "Yes, that's me. How can I help you?" she asked, her voice steady.

The woman slammed her hands down on the desk, causing Bellatrix to jump slightly. "My car is still not fixed! You said it would be ready in three hours, and it's been over four!" she exclaimed, her voice rising with each word.

Bellatrix took a deep breath, trying to keep her cool. "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, ma'am. Let me check on the status of your car for you," she said, reaching for the computer.

The woman crossed her arms, tapping her foot impatiently as Bellatrix pulled up the information. After a moment, Bellatrix's eyes widened in realization. "It looks like there was a delay with one of the parts we needed. I apologize for the oversight. We'll get it taken care of right away," she said, her tone sincere.

The woman huffed in frustration but seemed slightly mollified by Bellatrix's explanation. "Well, it better be fixed soon. I need my car for work," she said before storming out of the office.

Bellatrix let out a sigh of relief, glad to have resolved the situation without any further escalation. She made a mental note to double-check on the progress of the woman's car to ensure it was fixed as quickly as possible.

At that moment, Tig walked into the office " Ma'am. I'm gonna go ahead and take over, here. I won't allow you to speak to my wife that way. " He said, with pure authority.

The customer, taken aback by Tig's authoritative tone, stuttered, "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset anyone. I just want my car fixed."

Tig remained firm but calm. "I understand, ma'am. We'll make sure your car is taken care of promptly. Please, have a seat in our waiting area, and we'll update you as soon as it's ready."

The customer nodded, visibly relieved, and Tig escorted her to the waiting area. Bellatrix watched the exchange with a mixture of pride and amusement.

Bellatrix listened intently as Clay announced the weekend off for the carnival, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. She glanced over at Tig, who was grinning from ear to ear, clearly excited at the prospect. The carnival was one of their favorite things, a chance to let loose and have some fun.

After the meeting, Bellatrix and Tig walked out of the chapel, hand in hand, discussing their plans for the weekend. They talked about which rides they wanted to go on, which games they wanted to play, and which foods they wanted to indulge in

As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the carnival grounds, Bellatrix and Tig walked hand in hand, taking in the sights and sounds around them. The air was filled with the smell of popcorn and cotton candy, and the sound of laughter and music filled their ears.

Bellatrix's eyes lit up as she spotted the Ferris wheel in the distance. "Tiggy, can we please go on the Ferris wheel?" she asked, excitement evident in her voice.

Tig chuckled, squeezing her hand. "Of course, baby girl. Anything for you," he replied, leading her towards the towering ride.

After a quick ride on the Ferris wheel, Bellatrix and Tig wandered through the carnival, trying their luck at various games and indulging in some carnival treats. Bellatrix couldn't resist the allure of the giant stuffed animals at the ring toss booth, and with Tig's expert aim, they walked away with a prize that barely fit in their arms.

As the night wore on, they found themselves in front of a stage where a band was playing lively music. Bellatrix grabbed Tig's hand, pulling him towards the makeshift dance floor. They danced together, lost in the music and each other, the world fading away around them.

As the night deepened, the carnival came alive with twinkling lights and the sounds of revelry. Bellatrix and Tig wandered through the colorful crowds, their laughter blending with the cheerful chaos around them.

They tried their hand at more games, winning more prizes that Bellatrix insisted on carrying despite their growing pile. They indulged in carnival food, sharing a funnel cake and sipping on cold drinks as they walked.

Eventually, they found themselves at the edge of the carnival grounds, where a small Ferris wheel offered a view of the entire event. Bellatrix tugged Tig towards it, her eyes shining with excitement. They climbed into one of the brightly colored cars and as they rose into the air, the lights of the carnival spread out below them like a sea of stars.

At the top, Tig wrapped an arm around Bellatrix, pulling her close as they gazed out at the scene below. "This is perfect," Bellatrix said, leaning into him. "I love you, Tig."

"I love you too, Trixie," Tig replied, pressing a kiss to her forehead.
