"I'm sorry you saw that." Frigga said, turning to face me. I was frozen, still shocked.

"I shouldn't have snuck in." I said softly, registering what had just taken place. "Sorry." I didn't have time to say anything else as my body was engulfed my my grandmother.

"My, you've grown, child." She said, stepping back and examining me. "Grown in strength and beauty." I blushed scarlet. "Your magic is coming along well." She noted, examining my hands. "You've learned illusions, teleporting....." She trailed off. "You're ahead of your age."

I grinned. "I practice during school."

That earned me a sour look. I smiled sheepishly up at her. "Aww, c'mon, Grandmother, when an I ever going to use math? I'm a SHIELD agent, not a scientist."

I recieved a small chuckle. Then the door swung open widely to reveal the Allfather. "Hela, this is your grandfather." Frigga explained, and I nodded.

"We've already met." I said shortly before being ushered out of the room so the adults could talk. I didn't protest, seeing as while the King and Queen were busy, nobody was there to tell me what to do.

So I took off down the hall to find my father.

It took me only a matter of minutes to locate the severance entrance of the dungeons. From there it was only a matter of finding my father's cell. Letting my gut guide me, I followed the lantern lit corridor until it ended in two long rows of cells. I grinned. Jackpot.

The hardest part was ignoring the stares from the other prisoners. I could imagine that the murderers and monsters locked up in here would give the guards a hard time. They didn't say anything to me, but their stares were enough to thoroughly creep me out. Their yellowed grins, nocturnal eyes, and unfaltering gazes followed me as I made my way down the hallway, avoiding eye contact.

I had almost missed my father altogether . His hair was longer, more unkempt, and his armour was replaced with a black leather tunic. His face was pale as ever, his eyes still a startling green.

"Hi Dad." I said softly, stopping infringe of his cell. He looked up, his eyes drinking in my appearance.

"I'm sorry you had to see that." He said gently. "With Frigga, I mean. I didn't think it would get so out of hand." I nodded knowingly.

"It's alright." I said, looking at the ground. "That's the first thing she said to me too." My father laughed slightly, his concerned eyes never leaving my face.

"Why are you in Asgard?" My father asked gently, his voice full of worry. "Thor wouldn't bring you here unless it was necessary." I looked up at my father, my emerald eyes meeting his.

"He didn't take me. I followed him here."

My father chocked an eyebrow, as if to say 'is that so'?

"Jane, his nonofficial girlfriend has something inside her. I'm not sure what, but it's bad. And dangerous. He took her here, and I followed."

There was a short silence. " Hela, you should have stayed." My father said. "It could be dangerous." He paused, looking me straight in the eye. "I'm no use to you locked up, anyways."

I shook my head frantically. "I don't care!" I shouted. "I don't care that you're locked up, that you are responsible for the battle of New York, or that you're a frost giant." I paused, collecting myself. "You're my father, and the only person who ever will be."

"Hela." He said softly, kneeling my the forcefield that separated us. I sat as close t to the wall as I could, our faces only inches away. "I'm so sorry." He said, his voice quivering.

That's how I found myself asleep on the cold dungeon floor at the foot of my father's cell, his keen eyes watching over me through the night.
