[CHAPTER THREE]
FIRST GLANCE

     as the trio arrived at the great hall the saw a pair of arms waving like crazy over at the far left of the large hall. eoghan awed at the ginormous sight and atmosphere in front of him but he was quickly pulled out of his trance as declan again pulled him towards the last two friends who were to be introduced to him, one being a girl called darcy o'connell and a boy called jesse marcetti.

as the trio sat down declan sat down and pulled eoghan beside before looking down the table and rolling his eyes, eoghan caught wind of this and whispered questioningly to declan asking him what was wrong as he spoke. "so you know how there four houses, basically they're all stereotypically set up under a set of values and known ideals. we are sitting now at the slytherin table which is everyone's least favourite house. cunning, ambitious, determined, bla bla bla! they're basically just a bunch of stuck up rich pure bloods who live off of daddies money the main suspect being mr draco malfoy himself, the blonde one with extremely gelled back hair." declan ranged and pointed as eoghan nodded and took in all the information carefully as the two looked down at the group of slytherins who were dressed in the uniform proudly all but three being blaise zabini, pansy parkinson and theodore nott as declan had previously pointed out to eoghan.

while the pair were glaring at the group of slytherins a few of them caught these glares, funny enough being the three non uniformed pupils plus another boy names lorenzo berkshire. the four teens looked irritatingly at both eoghan and declan as though the were about to charge at them like bulls.

neither declan or eoghan shied away from holding long and gruelling eye contact with the slytherins although one specific bot caught eoghan's eye. he seemed to be the only one not giving the pair death glares, his glare seemed more curious and intrigued.

by theodore's perspective he seemed to be interested in this new student. he had heard of his name a few times being mentioned within the past few days especially between draco, crab and goyle and how eoghan was of rosier decent, a name not so unfamiliar to the nott family or any pure blooded slytherin family for that matter.

theodore knew of evan rosier and his antics during the first wizarding war and whether eoghan knew of him or not theodore knew he could use eoghan's presence to his advantage. in all likelihood to make his father and mother proud or just maybe that he had been strangely more interested in him than he should be.

declan tapped eoghan's shoulder and whispered something to him as the pair turned around and got eoghan familiar with his new found friendships.

"is that the rosier boy you wouldn't shut up about malfoy?" pansy asked as draco nodded and looked at the back of eoghan's person.
