3rd POV (On the road of Jasper, Nevada)
Arcee and Jack are at a stop sign. Acree immediately drives, surprising Jack.
"Hey! What's with you, Arcee?" Jack asked.
" I thought you might actually enjoy the ride if we weren't getting shy at it." Arcee replied. Periwinkle drives beside them, with Lydia riding her.
"Hey Jack and Arcee. How's it hanging?" Lydia greets.
"It's going well, Lydia." Jack tells her.
"We thought that we could go for a drive. Looks like it's going to be a race." said Periwinkle.
"Oh, it's on." Jack declared.
"Be prepared to eat my dust, Peri." said Arcee. She drives by.
"Not if I make you eat mine first, Arcee." Periwinkle retorted playfully. She and Arcee are neck-to-neck. Meanwhile, Miko is inside Bulkhead on a cliff.
"Ready, set-" before Miko can go on, Bulkhead interrupts.
"Miko, I'm supposed to be protecting you." Bulkhead pointed out.
"Bulkhead, I'm strapped tight inside ten tons of metal muscle. I'm protected." Miko claimed.
Bulkhead drives down the rocky cliff. Miko whoops in excitement. Meanwhile, Raf and Bumblebee are playing a race car video game. Bumblebee beats Raf, causing the young boy to groan in defeat. Bumblebee beeps victoriously as his wheel spins. Raf laughs.
"No fair, Bumblebee! You've been driving a lot longer than I have!" Raf tells him.
Back at the Autobot Base, Rachet is still examining the purple substance. He hears metal clanking in the distance. Rachet looks around before looking at a microscope. He turns around to see a small spider-like being with a glowing purple at jumping at him. Rachet moves out of the way and grabs a pipe. He attempts to whack it, but the spider-like being is too fast. It uses its legs to slice off something.
"I needed that!" Rachet yelled. The spider-like being leaps towards Rachet. Optimus shoots it down. He then crushed it underfoot.
"And stay broken. Now, what could have caused that?!"
"I have a grave suspicion, Ratchet, Dark Energon." Optimus tells him. Meanwhile on the warship, Megatron growls at the feeling of dark engergon flowing through him.
"Lord Megatron?" said Starscream.
"It's as if the blood of Unicron the Destroyer flows through my veins! As if I hear his very thoughts. I now know what I must do." Megatron claimed. He grabs a shard of dark engergon.
"And what can I do to assist you, Master?" Starscream asked.
"Quit groveling. And wait my command." Megatron ordered.
He walks away from Starscream. He transforms into a jet and flies off. Starscream watches from the control room. The dark purple faceless is behind him.
"Soundwave! I fear that when our Master reached for the stars he came down with a touch of space madness. Lord Megatron has not sound on his judgment since his return. Increase global surveillance!" Starscream ordered. Soundwave plays a recording of Megatron
"Quit groveling. And wait my command." Megatron's voices says through Soundwave's face screen.
"I'm not deaf! But if Optimus Prime lives I believe it is in Lord Megatron's best interest that we ensure his enemies destruction." Starscream stated.
Back at the Autobot Base, Optimus and Rachet are talking to each other.
"If the residue Arcee found on Cliffjumper brought your broken equipment to life, it would stand to reason that the very same substance brought Cliffjumper back from the dead." Optimus stated.
