3rd POV (At the Autobot Base)
It's early in the morning in Jasper, Nevada. The Sun starts to rise. Bulkhead walks into the main room with Miko on his shoulder.
"All right, chores are done. Now can we do some dune bashing?" Miko asked.
"I don't know, Miko. Last time, I spent a week picking sand out of my articulators. But, there's a monster truck rally in town." Bulkhead tells her.
"Optimus, I'm receiving a signal on a restricted band. It appears to be coming from a starship inside this dolor system." Rachet informed. He types and the green screen shows a ship near Earth. "It's an Autobot identification beacon."
"So there are other Bots out there?" Jack asked.
"The mass has scattered to the galaxies when Cybertron finally went dark." Arcee informed.
"And the 'Cons baited traps with fake beacons." Periwinkle added.
"Unknown vessel, this is Autobot outpost Omega one. Identity yourself." said Optimus.
"I've had warmer welcomes from Decepticons combat brigades." a husky voice snarked over the screen.
"Wheeljack? You old 'Con crusher! What are you doing all the way out here?" Bulkhead asked.
"Bulkhead? That's you? What's with all the security?" Wheeljack asked over the screen
"The rock were on is crawling with 'Cons. How soon can you get here and even the odd?" Bulkhead asked.
"Sometimes tomorrow, if I put metal to the pedal." Wheeljack replied over the green screen.
"Another Bot's coming here. How cool is that?" Miko asked.
"Wheeljack. I know him by reputation only. Can you verify his voice print.
"He's one thousand percent the real deal, Optimus." Bulkhead confirmed.
"We will send landing coordinates, Wheeljack. Safe journey." said Optimus.
"See you soon, buddy. I'll make sure you get a proper welcome." Bulkhead reassured before Rachet turns off the communications.
"So, who's the boyfriend?" Arcee asked teasingly.
"Me and Jackie go way back. We were part of the same warrior unit, the Wreckers. Which means to 'Cons are gonna wish he never found us." Bulkhead claimed
"And speaking of boyfriend, Wheeljack and I used to be together before we broke up." Periwinkle revealed.
"WHAT?!" the four humans yelled in disbelief.
"It's a long story." Periwinkle says as she rubbed the back of her neck.
The Decepticon warship flies in the sky. Soundwave records Bulkhead and Wheeljack's conversation on his face screen. Starscream listens to this.
"A war hero, hmm? We haven't much time. Makeshift!" Starscream called out.
A figure in the shadows walks into the main room. Soundwave connects his tentacle onto Makeshift, who starts to transform
"I do know how to prepare, a proper welcome." Starscream claimed with an evil smirk.
The next day, the Autobots and humans wait for Wheeljack to appear.
"Wheeljack's ship is approaching the landing zone." Arcee informed.
"You think he's here to visit?" Raf asked.
"Maybe he'll stay. Hmm, have to find is own human though." Miko asked.
"I still can't believe that Pers use be in a relationship with him." Lydia whispered to Jack.
