The wind whipped my hair around my face as I ran, probably messing up my lip gloss, but the door clanged open behind me and heavy footsteps started chasing me. "Please stop love, I don't want you to run from us and I don't want to have to chase you," the voice chasing me pleaded with his breath shaking heavily. "Then don't," I replied without hesitation, I hoped he would give up soon because I can't run for very long before the avenger would catch me. I knew it was Steve or Bucky, most likely Steve because the top part of my mark on my ankle had never stopped burning unlike the rest of the marks. Maybe if I had turned to see the desperate look in his eyes I would have stopped; even if I didn't plan on going with him, just to make him smile or feel the tiniest bit better. Even though I don't want to be with my soulmates the thought of their sadness still pained me. I climbed up the fire escape ladder on a nearby building and made my way up to the roof; where I thought that I wouldn't be followed. But as usual things don't quite go my way and the one and only Steve Rogers (of course it was Captain America) finds me hiding on the roof, great. I start to slowly step back and prepare my body for a long jump to another building. However, I had miscalculated the jump and realized that I was about to start my descent into the pavement, effectively killing me. Just as my body starts to fall to my demise strong arms wrap around my body and bring me back to the rooftop. Due to the burning in my chest and the ability to fly, it was a pretty safe bet that Tony Stark had caught me. "I will let go of you once we return to the ground, but please don't run from us." As he placed me on the ground I was tackled by a young man in red. "Peter," was shouted at the same time by nearly all. "I'm sorry, I was just scared that you would run again and I couldn't help it," he replied. "Peter, if you wished for the young lady to stay then tackling her to the ground probably wasn't the best choice, said Bruce who had just arrived. Peter responded with, "I'm so so sorry for tackling you Miss, but I really couldn't risk you leaving us again." "It was natural instinct, I completely understand and you have nothing to apologize for," I quickly responded, not wanting him to feel bad. "May we know the name of our last soulmate since you already know a lot about us, besides Peter, no one knows that he is Spiderman yet," Bucky said uncertainly.  "My name is June Wilson."

I feel like this part doesn't necessarily have a good ending point so I'm just going to stop it there and pick back up later.  Thank you so much to all reading!!!!
