As Taehyung made his way home, his mind was buzzing with excitement at the prospect of going on a date with Jiwon. Her unexpected invitation had taken him by surprise, filling him with a sense of joy and anticipation that he hadn't felt in a long time.

As he walked, he couldn't help but replay the moment in his mind, the way Jiwon's eyes had sparkled with warmth and sincerity as she asked him out. It was a dream come true for Taehyung, a chance to spend time with the girl he had admired from afar for so long.

Lost in his thoughts, Taehyung found himself smiling as he imagined what their date might entail – long walks in the park, intimate conversations over cups of coffee, stolen glances and shy smiles exchanged between them.

But amidst the excitement, a twinge of nervousness gnawed at Taehyung's stomach. What if he wasn't good enough for Jiwon? What if she realized that he was nothing but a poor, abandoned child, unworthy of her affection?

Pushing aside his doubts, Taehyung reminded himself that Jiwon had seen something in him worth pursuing – something that went beyond material wealth or social status. And as he approached his apartment, he made a silent vow to himself – to be the best version of himself for Jiwon, to show her the depth of his feelings and the sincerity of his intentions.

With a renewed sense of purpose, Taehyung stepped through the door of his apartment, his heart brimming with hope and excitement for the future that lay ahead. And as he prepared for his date with Jiwon, he couldn't help but feel grateful for the unexpected turn of events that had brought them together – two souls, bound by fate and united in their quest for love and happiness.

As Taehyung settled into his apartment for the evening, he was greeted by Jungkook, his friend and roommate. Together, they shared a simple dinner, exchanging stories of their respective days and enjoying each other's company.

But as they ate, Taehyung couldn't shake the feeling of unease that gnawed at him. Despite his attempts to focus on the conversation, his mind kept drifting back to the realization that Jungkook was shouldering more than his fair share of the rent.

The thought weighed heavily on Taehyung's conscience – here he was, living under the same roof as Jungkook, yet unable to contribute equally to their shared expenses. It felt like a slap in the face, a reminder of his own shortcomings and inadequacies.

As they finished their meal and prepared for bed, Taehyung found himself unable to shake the sense of guilt that lingered within him. He knew that he couldn't continue to rely on Jungkook's generosity forever – he had to find a way to pull his own weight, to contribute to their household expenses in a meaningful way.

And so, as he lay in bed, Taehyung made a difficult decision – he would drop out of university and focus on working more part-time jobs, determined to do whatever it took to alleviate the burden on Jungkook and ensure that they could both live comfortably.

It wasn't an easy choice to make, but Taehyung knew that it was the right one. For the sake of their friendship and their shared future, he was willing to sacrifice his own aspirations and dreams. And as he drifted off to sleep, a sense of determination filled his heart, driving him forward into an uncertain future with hope and resolve.

As Taehyung prepared to head out for his job in the morning, he was stopped in his tracks by Jungkook's unexpected question. His heart sank as he realized that the time had come to confront the difficult truth he had been avoiding.

"Why aren't you going to university?" Jungkook's words hung heavy in the air, laden with concern and curiosity. Taehyung felt a knot form in his stomach as he struggled to find the right words to explain his decision.

"It's... it's complicated," Taehyung began, his voice faltering as he tried to articulate his thoughts. "I... I just... I couldn't afford it anymore. The tuition fees, the expenses... it was all too much."

He paused, his gaze falling to the ground as shame washed over him. He hated having to admit his failures, especially to someone as close as Jungkook. But he knew that he couldn't keep hiding the truth any longer.

"I... I had to prioritize... finding more work, earning enough to pay the rent and... and help out with expenses," Taehyung continued, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'm sorry, Jungkook. I didn't want to burden you with this, but... I didn't know what else to do."

As he spoke, Taehyung braced himself for Jungkook's reaction, unsure of how his friend would respond to his confession. The silence that followed was deafening, each moment stretching out into eternity as they stood there, grappling with the weight of Taehyung's admission.

As Jungkook listened to Taehyung's explanation, a pang of disappointment welled up within him – not directed at Taehyung, but at himself. How had he failed to notice his friend's struggles? How had he allowed Taehyung to suffer in silence, without offering a helping hand?

In a voice heavy with pain and regret, Jungkook blurted out the questions that had been weighing heavily on his heart. "Don't you even trust me?" he asked, his words laced with hurt. "Do you think you're a burden to me? Is it too much to ask for help?"

Each question struck Taehyung like a blow, his heart clenching with guilt and remorse. He had never intended to make Jungkook feel this way – to doubt his trust or question his willingness to lend a helping hand.

"I... I didn't mean to... I didn't want to burden you," Taehyung replied, his voice choked with emotion. "I just... I didn't know how to ask for help. I didn't want to seem weak or incapable."

But as he spoke, Taehyung realized the truth in Jungkook's words. He had been so focused on shouldering his burdens alone that he had failed to see the outstretched hand of friendship and support that had been offered to him all along.

"I'm sorry, Jungkook," Taehyung said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I should have trusted you. I should have asked for help. Please... forgive me."

In that moment, Taehyung realized that true strength lay not in shouldering one's burdens alone, but in having the courage to lean on others in times of need. And as he looked into Jungkook's eyes, he knew that their friendship was strong enough to weather any storm – as long as they faced it together.
