Abbie settled into Miss Circle's office as he was called for detention.
Abbie heard footsteps approaching. They grew louder and faster, sending a shiver down his spine, until he looked up to see Miss Circle striding purposefully towards him, her expression stern and unforgiving.
Abbie swallowed nervously, aware of the rumors about Miss Circle's cruel nature and suspecting that he was about to experience it firsthand.
As she stopped in front of him, he noticed a trace of hunger in her eyes - not just for vengeance, but something else he couldn't quite place.
Without a word, Miss Circle gestured for him to stand up. Confused but obedient, Abbie rose from his chair.
As she circled him like a predator assessing its prey, he fought down the urge to flee or fight back, knowing neither option would lead to anything good.
When she finally spoke, her voice was low and dangerous.
"You know why you're here, don't you, Abbie? Your performance in my class has been... dissatisfactory." Miss Circle glared down at him.
she smirked and raised her compass tool, ready to kill him but he quickly ran away in panic.
Surprised by Abbie's sudden burst of courage, Miss Circle hesitated briefly, giving him the chance to escape.
Seizing the opportunity, Abbie turned and bolted from the room, his heart racing with fear.
As he fled down the hallway, he couldn't shake off the eerie sensation that Miss Circle's gaze was still upon him, watching his every move.
Shivering, he quickened his pace, hoping to put some distance between himself and the dangerous teacher before she could retaliate.
Breathless and panicked, Abbie slammed the classroom door shut behind him, locking it just in case Miss Circle decided to pursue him further.
As he caught his breath, he noticed Y/n sitting alone at her desk, lost in thought.
Feeling a mixture of gratitude and unease towards Y/n, Abbie approached her cautiously.
"Y/n!" He stuttered nervously.
As Y/n rose from her desk, Abbie noticed the calculating look in her eyes.
Suddenly, he felt uneasy, sensing that there was more going on than met the eye. Despite his growing unease, he couldn't resist asking,
"Y/n, please help me! Miss Circle is going to k-kill me...!"
His words hung in the air as Y/n took a step closer, the expression on her face growing even colder.
Without a word, she raised her hand, pointing at him and smirked
Abbie's heart skipped a beat as Y/n raised her hand, her eyes filled with malice.
In the blink of an eye, a sharp object appeared in her grasp, and he realized too late that he had fallen right into Y/n's trap.
The truth was revealed: Y/n was actually working alongside Miss Circle, acting as her accomplice to eliminate those they deemed undesirable.
Before Abbie could react, Y/n lunged forward, plunging a scissor into his eye with ruthless precision.
The blade of the scissor penetrated deep into Abbie's skull, instantly causing massive damage to his eye and brain.
His lifeless body slumped to the floor, bloody remains of his eyeball mixed with spinal fluid.
A small laugh sound echoed through the empty classroom, Y/n turned her body around and saw Miss Circle.
Smiling triumphantly, Miss Circle reached into her pocket and pulled out a wrapped chocolate bar, tossing it casually to Y/n. It landed at her feet with a soft thud.
"Enjoy your reward, my dear, and remember, there's always more where that came from." Without another word, she walked out of the classroom, leaving Y/n standing amidst the bloodshed and chaos, holding the chocolate bar in her trembling hand.
The taste of victory was sweet, but it did little to quell the guilt and horror festering within her soul.
While Claire continued her studies in the library, she felt a familiar presence next to her, and she glanced over to see Engel sitting beside her once more.
Engel handed her a piece of paper with formulas scribbled on it.
"Here, I think I worked these problems correctly," he said calmly, avoiding eye contact with Claire.
Taking the sheet, Claire reviewed the work, finding it accurate and helpful. She smiled warmly at Engel, grateful for his assistance.
They continued to study side by side in an awkward silence, occasionally interacting when necessary.
Sensing a shift in the atmosphere, Claire leaned in slightly, catching Engel's subtle hints of vulnerability.
It dawned on her that maybe, just maybe, there was more to him than she initially believed.
Tentatively, she placed her hand over his, offering comfort and reassurance. To her surprise, Engel didn't pull away; instead, he squeezed back lightly.
Their hands intertwined, they studied together, their minds focused on their schoolwork but hearts connected in an unexpected way.
Meanwhile Y/n was peeking at them. She looked at Engel intensely for being close to Claire.
But then she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned around and saw Miss Grace
"Y/n, do me a favor." Miss Grace stared at her.
"Uh, sure, Miss Grace," she responded, trying to hide her unease as she turned her attention away from Engel and Claire.
"I need you to deliver this envelope to Mister Demi's office," Miss Grace continued, handing her a letter.
"Make sure he gets it immediately after classes end today."
Biting her lip anxiously, Y/n accepted the letter and nodded obediently.
"Yes, Miss Grace. I'll make sure he gets it right away." With a forced smile, she returned her focus to their teacher, attempting to push thoughts of Engel and Claire from her mind for the moment.
