"Kirby? Where are you?" Y/N called out to her pink puffball friend. She wanted to see if he wanted to help her make a cake, since she knew that Kirby loved sweet food, and lately she had been wanting something sweet herself. Suddenly, Y/N felt something soft hugging her leg. She looked down to see her best friend, Kirby.

"Hi, Y/N!" he said, cheerfully.

"There you are, Kirby!" she said with a smile as she picked up his soft, pink body and they hugged each other, giggling.

"I wanted to ask you something," Y/N said. "What is it?" Kirby asked, looking at Y/N in anticipation.

"I was wondering if you would like to help me bake a cake," Y/N said. Kirby's eyes lit up at the word "cake". "Yes, yes, please!" he shouted, excitedly.

"Great!" Y/N said with a smile, and she walked home, her short, pink friend still in her arms. They entered the kitchen, where Y/N had set up everything beforehand. She set Kirby onto the countertop, and they got to work on making the cake.

Nearly two hours of mess-making later, the cake was finished. Y/N and Kirby smiled as they looked at their cake, proud of the work they did. "We did good, bestie," Y/N said, as she and Kirby high-fived each other. "We sure did, bestie," Kirby replied. Y/N grabbed two plates, cutting two pieces from the cake before handing one of them to Kirby.

"Now to see if it tastes as good as it looks," Y/N said, grabbing a fork for herself, since she already knew that Kirby wouldn't need one. As soon as she turned back to face Kirby, he had completely inhaled his piece. "It's delicious!" he said, happily. Y/N laughed a bit as she ate her piece of cake. "It sure is delicious!" she said.

After Y/N had finished her piece of cake, she put the rest in the fridge, hoping her parents would be proud of her baking skills. She and Kirby then went to the living room, silently sitting together on the couch. Y/N looked over at the pink puffball and petted him. "Thank you for helping me out today, Kirby," she said, happily. "We should do this more often." Kirby pinned her down on the couch, hugging her tightly. "And thank YOU for giving me a treat to eat!" he said. Y/N smiled and hugged him back, as the two best friends enjoyed the rest of the afternoon together.
