Kirby X Reader

A Big Confession

Y/N was standing at her doormat, waiting for her guest to come. Then she heard a knock on the door.

She opened it to see the familiar pink puffball, Kirby. Excited to see Y/N, he jumped up joyfully, and she held him in her hands.

"Y/N!" he exclaimed. "It's so nice to see you!" Kirby was very happy to see Y/N, even though they met only a few hours ago.

Y/N and Kirby had been best friends for so long. The day they first met, Kirby's eyes sparkled with happiness. Since then, they had been meeting every day to go on lots of adventures and have fun.

"Kirby," Y/N giggled. "It's been only 3 hours since I saw you! Why are you so excited now?"

"Cause I love to meet you every day," Kirby said. "and when I get the chance to, I get all cheery and warm inside!" They both giggled.

They both went to Y/N's room, sat down on her bed, and talked for a bit. Y/N was getting more and more nervous by the second. She was supposed to tell Kirby something very important, but she was finding it very hard.

Soon, they both grew silent. Y/N found this as the opportunity to confess.

"Hey, Kirby?" she said, anxiously. "Can I tell you a secret?"

"Sure! You can trust me to keep your secret safe with me!" Kirby replied, cheerfully.

Y/N's whole body began to heat up as she tried to blurt out the words. "What if I told you," she stuttered. "that I, um...love you?"

"YOU DO?!" He shouted. "Well, that's amazing! Everyone should be loved. Love is an amazing feeling that makes you all warm and fuzzy. I think it's great that you love me! It's a sweet and awesome thing and I'm happy that you lo-"

"Wait, wait, wait, wait." Y/N said to Kirby, who sometimes talked a lot and got carried away. "Uh, I mean...I love you...because I have a crush on you."

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?!" Kirby yelled, dazed at what Y/N just said. His face grew bright red. "Oh, my stars! What a surprise! W-w-wow! Um, gosh...I never thought that someone would think of me like this! Uh, thanks! I guess? I don't know what to say, I-"

"You love me back?" Y/N said. She almost didn't realize how loud she was. Everything started to spin around her. She laid down on her soft bed to help calm herself down. Kirby laid next to her.

"Yes! Of course, I do! I love you too, Y/N!" he said. "I never thought that someone would have a crush on me, cause well, you know, everyone liking Meta Knight and all, but I...this is just AMAZING. Like, WOW!" Kirby seemed to like Y/N back. She instantly knew this wasn't a dream when he suddenly rolled onto her and clung to her dress.

Y/N sat up, picked up Kirby, and they gave each other a big hug, and giggled a bit, both of them rather embarrassed, but very happy. They looked up at the sky through the window and admired the thousands of twinkling stars that lit up the night. Y/N's dream had come true. Kirby did love her. He was right here cuddling her.

She gave him a small kiss on his cheek. He suddenly stopped. Kirby looked like a bright red cherry and his smile grew bigger. "EEEEEEE!!!" he screamed with excitement.

He then quickly kissed Y/N in the mouth. She was so shocked by the sudden gesture that she felt like exploding. She stroked his soft, pink fur while humming a bit.

They laid on the bed once again and admired each other. Y/N eventually got tired. She slid under the covers, closed her eyes, and slowly fell asleep. "Goodnight, Kirby..." she muttered. Kirby went in the covers and fell asleep too. "Goodnight..." he yawned. They snuggled each other in their sleep, happy with their new relationship.
