Melody of Bones

Chapter Six

A cold glare covers the city, the rooftops, the streets, and most importantly, the people. "The smell of cigarettes... makeup... and medicine..." a deep voice of the Bat Devil spoke in a menacing way as he perched on top of the house which he used as his hideout. "Now, that's not a bad smell. I've settled on children to cleanse my palate!" The Devil grinned in an expression that only conveyed an evil hunger.

"BAT DEVIL!!" Power the Blood Fiend shouted at the devil bringing his attention to her. "I brought you a human as promised! Now give Meowy back!" Denji looked to both devilish beings while the large entity pondered. "Hm? Ah, yes... was that the deal?" A bird cage was brought from the fur under his neck. Within the cage was a pudgy calico cat. "Mroow!" The cat called out to its owner. "MEOWY!!" Power yelled to her pet with a strike of fear and a taste of relief to see the cat was fine.

"But I still haven't punished you for bringing me disgusting blood, have I?" The Devil asked while he brought to cage up to his maw. And with a single move he plopped the cat and the cage into his mouth, swallowing it whole.

"Meowy..."

A few months ago:

A wild looking Power sat on a bear corpse with her hand on her chin while looking at a malnourished cat. "Meowy! Your name shall be Meowy! For a cat, you smell tasty!" Power exclaimed. "Mrow!" A shivering skinny Meowy mewled. "You're all skin and bones... methinks I'll fatten you up a little before I eat you!"

Some time later at an unknown farm Power milked a cow and put a small bowl with milk in from of the frail cat while she ate the dead cow. "Hurry and grow big! I'm eager to kill you!"

Another jump and now the cat was now well fed and pudgy. The cat and the fiend lay on top of the roof of a house with Meowy becoming comfortable on top of Power. "I've always killed everything that met my gaze... it feels so strange to hear a voice that isn't screaming... so strange..." Power uttered in a wondered manner.

"Blood devil!" A one armed bat devil with blood pouring from its wounded stump picked up Meowy by the scruff as a hostage. "I need blood... bring me a human if you want the cat to live..."

Back to present day:

Power stood unmoving as the Bat Devil swallowed Meowy whole. Denji looked on from the side lines while  distraught Power looked up, now turning her gaze to the boy. "You said you can no longer be with Pochita anymore... I know how you feel. 'Tis an awful feeling isn't it?" The Blood Fiend asked before being picked up by the Bat Devil's large hand and carried to its mouth and proceeded to do the same to Power as he done with the cat, swallowing her whole.

"Disgusting! Nothing but disgusting blood!" With a grunt he opened his wings and left the building, taking to the skies. "GAAH! My mouth tastes revolting! I must rinse it out with the blood of children!"

Flying to the city below he pondered his next meal. "After I've gargled, I'll have a virgin as an appetizer. For the soup, a healthy woman of ripe age. The main course will be a good, plump man. And for dessert, I desire a pregnant woman!" That is until he felt a tug on his leg. He looked to it and saw Denji drinking the blood of the Blood Devil, healing his wounds.

"COUGH UP THE TITS!" "You're drinking my blood...?! How vile! I do not have any desire to drink your blood!" In a quick move he flung Denji off and grasped the boy tightly in his hand, although Denji had grabbed his ripcord just before that, ready to pull at any moment, while his ribs and left arm were shattered because of the great strength of the Bat Devil.

There was once a time Pochita went missing.

Pochita wasn't there when I was there woke up.

I looked all over town and still couldn't find 'im.

I thought he'd be eaten by a devil.

But when I got home, Pochita was waiting for me, crying.

I remember being so relieved that we fell asleep together right on the spot.

After Meowy got taken by a devil...

The Bat Devil looked at the Hybrid boy who had now begun to have a chainsaw come out of his head in a bloody fashion. Now Denji's transformation has been completed.

Chainsaw Man has been unleashed

VREEEE

Chainsaw Man has burst through the Devils hand, destroying it with a single attack. The Bat Devil looked shocked at the sudden transformation that Denji underwent, blood poured from the skies as Denji fell with the Bat Devil to the ground, gearing up his Chainsaws to slice through his opponent.
