Chapter 7: Lying

Sierra

"Everything alright, baby girl?" Daniel asked while I stood there in shock.

"I'm fine. This is umm-"

"I'm Lola, Sierra's best friend, and this is my boyfriend, Rob." she said extending her hand to Daniel.

"I'm Daniel. Nice to meet y'all."

Lola looked between the two of us before giving me a devious smirk. "Are you on a date with my friend?"

"Lola," I said trying not to cause a scene in this restaurant," Can you come with me to the bathroom please? I'll meet you at the table, Daniel."

Daniel nodded and walked on to the table while I basically dragged Lola to the women's bathroom. Once we entered I locked the door behind us to make sure no one would enter. I looked over to Lola with a look of disgust.

"Rob? Really, Lola. How can you start talking to him all of a sudden?"

"It's not all of a sudden, Sierra. We've been together for years." she said rolling her eyes.

"Wait years! That doesn't- Wait were you the mistress?"

She didn't say anything, but all she did was look. My eye widen when I realized what that meant.

"Why are you looking at me like that ?"

I couldn't even look at her anymore. I don't understand why would she do this to Heaven.

"How could you do that to Heaven?"

"I wanted him, so I got him. It's that simple." she shrugged.

"But you were acting like you were so concerned and caring when all along you where the whore that ruined my best friend's life. "

"She's my best friend too dammit."

"Sure doesn't seem like it. You-"

Both of our phones went off indicating that we had a text message.

We have a private meeting tomorrow at G.A. I feel like we have some issues we need to discuss. See you guys tomorrow! -Heaven

We both read the message and looked at each other.

" This can't come out tomorrow?"

I looked at her with a wide eyes,"What they hell you mean, Lola? "

"I mean Rob and I should not come up tomorrow or ever. Does Mace know your cheating on him?"

"I'm not cheating on him. This is just a friend."

"That calls you baby girl? I don't think so, and I don't think Mace would think that if he knew about y'all. "

"You wouldn't tell him."

She smiled." I would. I know he beats you. Makeup can only cover so much," she said while swiping her thumb across my neck showing the scars," I'm sure he wouldn't be too happy with you or Daniel if he knew you were on this date. And I'm sure Daniel wouldn't be so happy either knowing how much of an whore you are."

I looked at Lola move to adjust her dress, and I couldn't even recognized who I was looking at. She has never been like this, but I guess her being the peace keeper was just an act.

"I don't even know who you are right now."

" You don't have to. All you need to know is that you should keep your mouth shut, and I will do the same. Am I clear on what it is?"

I nodded my head while looking down.

"Good," she said walking past me to the door,"Enjoy your date. I know I will."
