"Choi yeonjun!!!"
"D-dae ... Appa?"

Baby yeonjun shuttered. As his drunk dad approached him by storming into his room almost breaking the door. Yeonjun panickingly jumped out of his bed and stand straight. But he loosed balance as his dad growled in frustration.

Our baby yeonjun tried his best to stand up and finally did when his dad pushed him to the floor hard. His head hit the bed's leg and he started crying right after. Within moments, blood started flowing from his head.

But his dad didn't care at all. He didn't even noticed. He laid on the bed and fall asleep. Yeonjun cried even louder making his dad mad. He grabbed a pillow and throw it to him. Making him startled and hit the same spot again.

Hearing him crying and screaming loud, his mom finally rushed upstairs. He saw yeonjun with blood covering his face.

"Omoo!!?"

She quickly carried him and look at his father.

"This jerky bixch did it again, but WITH OUR KID!!?"

She scoffed. Even though they didn't care about yeonjun at all is a fact. But no mother can hate thier child forever, no matter what. She do have a soft spot for him, after all she finally realized, He is her son. The one she gave birth to.

She can't always avoid him. Can't always hurt him. Kids are the other part of mothers, I say. [Note it!]

- IN THE HOSPITAL -
Time :- 11:00PM .!.!.!.

Mrs.choi's pov -
I don't know what to do. Doesn't matter if we are wealthy and have money, i have so courage or support. Ottokke? My shitty husband, ughhh why did I even met him. Fu*k.

[ His mom mentally cursed herself and decided to call Mrs.choi, AkA, Beomgyu's mom ]

"Mrs. Choi?"
"Dae?"
"Can you pleasee come to XXX hospital? It's an emergency!"
"Ohhh sure, give some moments"

"Beomgyu, honey?"
"Dae eomma?"
"Get ready fast"
"Waee?"
"Mrs.choi said, let's go. Honey, get ready quick"

Beomgyu excitingly ran to his room to get ready. He wore something comfy and cute and fluffy. Something ... Yeonjun always liked. Likes. Will like.

He giggled and gone through all his clothes in his closet.

Perfectly timing, They all went inside the car and drove to the hospital.

- IN THE HOSPITAL -

"Appa?"
"Dae beomi?"
"Mom said yeonjun's house, right?"

"No honey, I said mrs.choi called. They are in the hospital don't know what happened!"
"Huhh?!"

Beomgyu felt a little scared, what if it's yeonjun who is injured. The youngers heart started beating faster.

"What is it? What happened?" Gyu's mom said with a concerning tone and face.

"Y-yeonjun was- Yeonjun was injured, badly"
"Whatt???!" Gyu almost screamed .

Silence filled. Gyu's mom hold Junnie's mom close. His dad sat down and hold beomgyu close. Beomgyu started tearing up and hugged his dad tight.

"What happened??"

Mrs.choi started saying everything. Gyu's eyes become red by crying. His hands were shivering. He started to hate his dad even more. But now he have a little soft corner for yeonjun's mom. Cause she saved him. I guess ...

"Gyu stop crying, he will be alright"
"Nooo~~ beomie wants to see hyunggg!!!!"

He started crying loud. His dad patted his back and let him cry.

"Yeonjun?!"

The nurse opened the door and speak out. His mom raised her hands and went to the nurse.

"First of all. This is clearly knowing his state isn't good. Someone must have been forcely bumped it something hard. He is too weak and small to do such things.

"Actually ... His dad it-"
"Oh ... Is he abusive?"
"Yes, I am sorry-"
"No no no, sorry but we called the police!"

"Oh why?"
"Because the doctor said this is purely forced, so called the police a moment ago"
"But-"
"Sorry and proceed to bring his dad here"

Yeonjun's mom cried out. Bursting into tears and kneeled down infront of the door closing her eyes and covering her face with her palms. Mrs.choi once again hugged her kneeling down.

"It's okay sweetheart, he deserved it"

Gyu's mom conforted his mom.

TIME SKIP - 2:30PM

Beomgyu's dad and his wife Mrs.choi was sleeping oj to couch inside the room yeonjun was sleeping. He is still unconscious. His mom sat on the floor and hold his hands and already falled asleep hours ago.

But beomgyu.

He is still awake. Wide awake. His eyes are swollen and red by crying. His lips are still trembling from the loud sobs that left his mouth hours ago. Now his sobs are silent than the sound of leaves.

He covered his mouth preventing the sobs were coming out. His other hand holding yeonjun's wrist gently. Not tighted. Not hurting.

The police came an hour ago and yeonjun's mom said he is at home. They rushed to their home as she already said the location. They arrested him there. Thank God his wife nore beomgyu/yeonjun get to witness that scene.

Beomgyu now couldn't control his sobs. He made sure everyone is asleep by gently shaking each of them. He said beside yeonjun and hold his wrist once again. Tears dropped to hands. He gripped the sheets tightly with his other hand.

Facing the bed he lowered his head. Tears non stop falled on to his hands and yeonjun's.

"H-hy-hyung? Wake up. I i-i love you. P-ple-please Wake up S-soon"

His voice shattered like glass. Soon that voice faded.

"H-hyung. Call me- call me- sweetheart *sob.sob* I-i am scared. I-i I am so scared. I admit. I am scared. Of the darkness you are giving right now. I was never scared of dark. But t-today you teach me what is D-darkness. I hate this darkness inbetween us, Hyung"

"I failed to protect you h-hyung. I failed. I failed to do everything but to cry. Cry loud and sob. That's all I could do. I didn't kept my words. H-hyung, please."

He sobbed even louder and keep his head on yeonjun's shoulder as he slowly layed beside him carefully, not hurting the elder.

" I am scared hyung. Please hold me whenever i failed to protect you. Please. I- i am scared".
