A/N: I am in love with Life is Strange and I just wanted this idea to be out there. I know a lot of people feel the same way about the game and I hope everyone receives this story well and wants more.

"No, don't!" She screamed, bursting forth from her laying position. Her skin shimmered with a thin layer of cold sweat and her chest pumped quickly to match her quickened breaths and gasps. She could feel her heart beating in her throat, thumping loudly in her ears. Quickly, her blue eyes darted around to take in her surroundings. She was in a bedroom that was scantly furnished, only containing a desk, small closet and a couple duffle bags in the corner. The walls were a boring white color with dark, contrasting wood flooring. She wasn't even on an actual bed, just some layered blankets on the floor with a light pink comforter over her for warmth.

Once she comprehended where she was her body relaxed immensely allowing a sigh to escape her once rushed lungs. She took a moment to completely calm herself down before checking her phone that lay on the hard wood floor next to her bed of blankets. With one click of a button the screen came to life allowing her to see the time. It was just a little after two in the afternoon. Not like you to sleep in Max, though you could have set an alarm. She internally chided. After looking at the time she glanced the picture on her devise. It was a great picture in her eyes. She sat in some sand on a beach with her knees hugged to her chest, arms wrapped securely around them and her face hiding behind. The sun was setting over the ocean waters, casting orange and yellow rays of light making the water sparkle. The whole shot was taken from behind her so that her back was facing the camera it was taken with.

Deciding it was a good time to get out of bed, Max lifted herself from her blankets and was thankful that she had chosen to wear a long sleeve shirt and sweat pants to combat the cold fall air. She loved the weather nonetheless, mostly because of the leaves changing color and the crisp feeling of fall air on her face. The first thing she needed to do was take a shower because she could feel her sweat drying on her skin and she didn't want to feel gross all day. So, she walked out of her room into a very short hallway with the bathroom just across the way. Walking in she started to peel the articles of clothing off of her body one by one. The cold air instantly attacking her exposed flesh while she reached over to turn the shower on, making sure the water was warm enough she hopped in.

A small smile graced her lips, feeling the hot water sting slightly, but she didn't mind because it was very relaxing. Slowly, she rotated to make sure the warm liquid hit every part of her and leaned her head back so she could get her hair wet. Max ran her fingers through the soft, brunette locks that reminded her of last week, before she returned to Arcadia Bay, because of how short they were now. With a scowl she forced the thoughts away and proceeded with her shower, shampooing and conditioning her hair, not to mention using her favorite body wash that smelled of cherries and vanilla. Upon finishing, the brunette turned the water off and took the only towel off the towel rack nearby. Running the white cloth over her wet skin she made sure that she was decently dry before taking the towel and ruffling her hair with it. Satisfied, Max wrapped the towel around her and walked back into her, mostly bare, room.

She rummaged through the duffle bags for some clothes to wear for the day. I'm going out, so I might as well wear something decent just in case I gather the courage to...She didn't finish her thought and shook her head. Finding a good outfit to wear she dropped the towel and proceed to dress herself. When finished she was clad in some simple black converse, black skinny jeans, and a dark green, plaid button up with a hidden grey spaghetti strap top underneath. With a couple more things she would be ready.

Her blue eyes looked over at the desk against the wall and she walked over picking up something she never left without. A gold necklace with a matching cross. Max wasn't religious because she honestly didn't know what to believe in, part of her believed science and another was intrigued by the idea of a higher being. Only none of that mattered to her, what mattered was just living and going about life the way that was most enjoyable for one's self. The necklace was just something she cared about deeply, it had sentimental value. She swiftly put it on and hid it behind her plaid shirt.
