Prologue:
Robert Scarn was a world-class race car driver he's won the NASCAR championship 5 times, won the F 1 series four times, the LeMans series 3 times, and even has won the Tokyo Drift Series three times.
Chapter 1
Start of the season
"5 laps remaining in the Daytona 500." Says Michael Waltrip.
"What a race this has come down to." Said Chris Myers.
"If Scarn wants to start the season off right he needs to-." Said Michael
"SCARN going outside on turn three, going three wide...and he takes the lead!" Said Chris interrupting Michael.
" With only three laps to go." Said Michael.
Roberts pass to take the lead made his pit crew go crazy.
"Alright guys keep it together. Nice move kid, just keep that pace and your good." Said Roberts crew chief Jim Hilow.
"I've got a good feeling about this season guys." Said Scarn Enthusiastically.
"Robert you've got company, Harvick one car back." Said Jim informing Robert.
"I see him." Replied Robert.
"Stay low in turns two and three, Harvick likes the high line." Said Jim
"Scarn's got someone coming up fast." Said Chris.
"Looks like Harvick's trying to a make a move up top." Said Michael.
"On the back stretch Harvick and Scarn are neck and neck."
"It's gonna be a close finish." Yells Michael.
Scarn and Harvick are so close to breaking the record of closest win of 0.002 seconds. They come out of turn 5 as close as could be.
"IT'S A TIE!" Yells Chris.
"I can't believe it! First race of the season Scarn and Harvick tie!" Excitedly says Michael.
"Nice race kid, head on in and let's see what the result is." Says Jim.
Scarn slowly cruises into the pits and to his stall.
"I think Harvick got me by a bumper at the line." Says Scarn.
Scarn climbs out of his car and takes off his helmet, almost all the women in the pits were starstruck by Roberts looks.
"We'll see, from my point of view I couldn't tell who finished first." Said Jim.
The official is reviewing the finish tape which is kinda interesting because they could just look at the times and get the result from there but nope gotta look at the video.
"After review of the finish, the winner of the Daytona 500 is...Robert Scarn." Said the official.
"Nice race Robert." Said Kevin.
"Yeah you too." Replied Robert.
