The pov of exemplum

Exemplum woke up after his long nights rest, yawning as he sat up, stretching his legs, he was still a little tired but he got up and put on the crown parable gave him yesterday, he smiled softly as he thought of parable, then he shook his head immediately. "what the fuck am I thinking, stars.." he mumbled as he jumped into the water, holding the crown onto his head as he swam, going out to get some food which he did. It was quiet, but he didn't mind, taking a fish and eating it, he had nothing to do today as he took a small fish and dashed off to the surface. When he slowly made his way and popped his head out of the water he was surprised to see parable, sitting there and seeming to be waiting for something.

Parable saw exemplum and smiled, waving his wing happily at him, he was honestly surprised to see him. "hi exemplum.." he said softly as he went over closer, smiling down at him. Exemplum noticed a shiny shell that had vines to make it like a necklace, around parables neck, he smiled a little bit as he got properly out of the water, sitting on the sad as he hummed slightly. "so.. Guess we did see each other after all." he said as he looked to the other, who was looking back at him. "yeah.. I uhm.. Didn't think you'd come back up here you know?" parable said as he chuckled a bit, looking to the side. "why don't we go somewhere else for now, just so we aren't bothered by our friends and all?" exemplum asked with a small smile, looking to the water. "sure but where will we go?" parable said, before exemplum answered. "maybe we can go to another beach, but here parable, I forgot I took a fish and I wanted you to try it." he handed parable the small fish he took earlier, using his stingers to do so.

Parable stated at the fish before hesitantly taking it with his mouth and eating it, his eyes lit up before smiling." wow.. The fish tasted amazing!" he chuckled out. Exemplum smiled a little and nodded. "glad to know.. But why don't we start going to another beach area." he said before beginning to walk to another area, with parable following. "why don't I fly you to another area?" parable offered as exemplum nodded wrapping his stingers around parables legs as parable took flight and made his way with exemplum to another beach side.

Before they landed parable somewhat got off ballance in flying since he got distracted and kinda fell with exemplum onto the sand, they weren't high so it didn't hurt them, though parable did land on top of exemplum. "oh eheh.. Sorry.." he said with a faint blush covering his cheeks as he got off him, giggling slightly as he ruffled his wings, sitting down on the fresh sand that was further away from the normal beach. Exemplum was blushing a bit but he rolled his eyes."yeah yeah whatever.." he mumbled as he sat up and sat a bit close to parable, they were facing awau from the sun, it was colder this season so exemplum didn't like when he felt the wind as it was chilly.

Parable noticed this, he wanted to help but he didn't want to risk this.. Special time. 'maybe I should wait..' he thought as he looked at exemplum. Exemplum looked back at him, having a small grin as he sighed. "you know it's been a while since we've.. Hung out, all those arguments and fights.. And now this." he chuckled a little, parable also chuckled along with as he hummed. "you know I never wanted to be your enemy, exemplum.. I honestly wanted to keep you as my close friend back then." he laughed slightly as he then sighed, looking out to the water. "don't you miss that? I mean maybe we would need to.. Rebuild out bond but I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard!"

Exemplum hummed slightly before sighing, looking at him with a small frown. "don't you remember why we couldn't be friends? Fable and figment hated the fact we were close, and that we could possibly ruin things." he grumbled as he now glared at parable, shivering a bit. Parable just gently wrapped his wing around him, he couldn't just ignore him being cold again, he didn't get physically close but he already was kinds close to him. Exemplum looked away as he mumbled something, however he didn't move away. "anyway.. What do you do for fun parable.."
