The Beginning Of A New

The starting pov of parable

Parable woke up as he felt exemplum move him slightly, yawning as he stretched his feathers out. "is..is it day time yet?" he mumbled as he still had his eyes closed, nuzzling his face into exemplums chest as he smiles. "not yet.. It's best you keep resting for now parable." exemplum said as he wrapped his stingers around parable a bit tighter.
Parable smiled as he stayed comfy, deciding to listen to exemplum and rest for now. He Honestly didn't wanna rest much but he kinda just relaxed his eyes for now, yawning slightly while he tried to wake up

A little while later parable opened his eyes, sitting up as he looked at exemplum and smiled, "exemplum.. What will we do today..?" he yawned out and stretched, "Im unsure dear.." exemplum mumbled out, blushing slightly since he accidentally said dear, he was still slightly trying to wake up so he accidentally said it. This made parable blush heavily and clear his throat, "u-uhm maybe we can look for shells or something.." he mumbled out, trying to hide his blush, he wasn't too sure if he was too tired or not to hear exemplum correctly anymore.

Exemplums pov

Exemplum felt that maybe he shouldve woken up more, "yeah let's uhm.. Look for shells, maybe I could show you some cool things and all.." he mumbled out, sitting up more, "let's get up then uh.. Parable" he stretches, then parable slowly got up before smiling down to him, exemplum got up too before wrapping his stingers around parables wing, just to Kinda be close to him still, he began to walk out onto the beach and hum, smiling slightly, "hey parable, you ever thought about having someone to love?" he asked as he looked over at parable, parable hummed slightly, "not necessarily.. Do.. Do you want to have someone to love?" he tilted his head slightly as explum looked away with a small grin, "what no! I.. I don't need anyone to love me or me to love them!" he spat as he just grabbed a shell up with his stinger. "exemplum are you sure I mean.. You can tell me I'm your friend after all.." parable said softly walking closer as he wrapped his wing around exemplum.

Exemplum seemed hesitant before taking a deep breath, "I'm telling the truth! Now just.. ughh!" he jumped into the water and swam down, leaving parable on the beach alone. Parable sighed and sat down, waiting for exemplum to come back as he had a hunch he would, until his friends came over and began to talk to him, now he was frightened if exemplum came back up.. Maybe Bennett was a friend of exemplums but fable.. Fable won't be hesitant to hurt their enemy.

Exemplum poked his head out the water, looking around until he saw parable with his friends, this made him groan but when he noticed fable turning around went under water again to not get caught, sighing slightly as he looked around for a moment and dashing to the other less seen able area of the beach, now just spying on them. He however was hurt slightly, maybe he'd never get to be with parable, msybe he just has to be friends with him forever or something until, he dies.

Exemplum just thought to himself before going back into the water and going to where he usually sleeps, sighing slightly, "ugh damn it.. First I jump into the ocean for a stupid reason and now I can't apologize to parable because he's with his friends." he huffed and sat down on the ground in his little place as he looked up, "maybe I should go eat and come sleep. It's not like parable won't be busy today, he has his friends with him and he'll probably forget I'm here."

He got up and went into the water as he began to just go hunt, soon seeing a fish and of course, killing it and taking it back to his little home to eat it, gulping it down like if he hasn't eaten in ages. Soon he just laid down on a bed like place and closed his eyes, trying to nap or sleep for now.
