~BELLA P.O.V
After getting our bearings, Flint manages to create a hand-made torch from a marshmallow and a shrimp skewer. Gently, I took it from him and lit on a flaming cherry jubilee.
Turning around, I lifted the torch up and it illuminated the walls made by the congealed food. "Whoa..." I muttered in shock.
"You can say that again," Flint mumbled in agreement, standing beside me.
Sam opened her Dopple Radar. "We've landed here in some kind of exhaust vent. But if we go this, the Flamidabager should be right down this air shaft," Sam explained, heading toward a tunnel close by. Flint and I followed but paused when she stopped in place, looking back. "Brent, get out of that pie,"
The two of us looked back to see Brent in the middle of a pie, eating away at it. He paused, looking up to stare at us. "What's that?"

We've been heading down the tunnel for a few minutes now. Bella and I were leading the charge while Sam and Brent weren't too far behind.
I glanced over to Babs, which caused the conversation Sam and I had earlier to pop back into my mind. I didn't want it to consume my thoughts since this wasn't the time to think about it.
But I felt a concerned look appear across my face when I noticed the scar on the back of her left hand, one that seemed similar to a stab scar.
It seemed like the only thing I could focus on at the moment, how come I never noticed it before?
Just then, Bella seemed to notice that I was staring at her. "Flint? Are you alright?" she asked, breaking me out of my thoughts.
Flicking my eyes away from her hand, I noticed she had a concerned look on her face. "Don't worry, Babs. I'm fine. I just have something on my mind," I reassured.
" A penny for your thoughts?" Bella offered, nudging me slightly.
I sent her a small smile. "Thanks for the concern, but it's fine. It's nothing important to mention right now,"
"Alright... If you're sure..." Babs slowly nodded, and we left the conversation at that.
Soon, the tunnel started opening up and we came face to face with a large pool of boiling hot fry oil. Babs and I managed to stop in time, along with Sam, but I had to stop Brent from walking into it.
"That's fry oil..." I muttered, watching a couple of fries and chicken nuggets float to the surface.
Surveying the situation, I realized that there was no other way to get to the other side other than going straight across.
"Great. We need to go across," Babs muttered bitterly, but slightly nervous.
I took a deep breath. "Okay, guys. Follow my lead,"
Taking a few steps back, I ran forward and leapt onto a chicken nugget, but one of my feet briefly got caught in the oil. "Ah!" I screamed in pain, grabbing my foot.
Quickly shaking it off, I continued my way forward, leaping across different foods while trying to keep my balance. The others started doing the same, avoiding the oil coming down from the ceiling and balancing themselves.
"Flint, you have a call. Flint, you have a--" my phone rang, which I answered since I knew it was my Dad.
"Ah! Dad. Oh, okay, great. Uh, on the screen there's a file marked 'Kill code'," I informed, leaping onto a fry.
