Classes went as normal for a while. Quidditch continued, and Harry decided to quit the team. He wasn't ready for the flashbacks he would get while on the broom. Harry decided to focus on his studies, especially Defense Against the Dark Arts. Now that he knew Albus hadn't made it to Azkaban, he wanted to be prepared.
The rest of the year flew by in the blink of an eye. So many things happened that gave Harry the chance to be who he was. His fifth year was coming to an end, and be couldn't be happier. For so long, Harry just needed someone to love, someone who he couldn't live without. Draco was that someone. As the end of the term approached, Harry grew worried about his once best friend. Ronald hadnt been see in months; not by his family, and not by any one else either.
Harry was worried he was with Dumbledore, in on an unknown plot to make Harry's life a living hell. He hated Ronald, with every nerve in his body, but he didnt want his former friend to go down the wrong path, even with all the horrible things he did to Harry.
It was two weeks before term ended. Summer was practically already apon the Hogwarts students. Everything seemed fine until it wasnt. Harry started to feel sick just the week before, after he drank a potion that was supposed to help him finish healing. He had drank that potion many times before, so he didnt suspect that it had anything to do with him feeling sick. He forgot one important thing though, to read the warnings each time he drank the potion, because his daily life was subject to change.
As Harry raised his hand, Professor Snape nodded and called his name.
"Yes Potter?" Snape called, his usual stoic expression shifting to one of concern.
"Professor, may I be excused to go to the medical wing? I'm feeling nauseous, and have been sick for the past few days." Harry did look sick, and he was obviously trying to suppress it, as he looked as if he could puke at any moment. Snape nodded at harry, looking at Draco to go as well. Draco stood up as Harry did and helped his boyfriend gather his things.
The two boys left the classroom, making way to the medical wing. Draco stayed silent, but was obviously worried for Harry. Why wouldn't he be? He loved Harry more than anyone else, besides his mother of course. The walk felt like an eternity, but the silence didnt bother either boy. before the boys got to the hospital wing, Harry made a b-line towards the boys lavatory. He felt yet again as if he was going to throw up. He hardly made it to the toilet, lucky enough to throw his bag down and not puke all over the floor.
Draco rushed to his side, holding his dark brown hair back, out of the way.
Why do I keep getting sick? Is there something Wrong with me? Harry thought as he was yet again throwing his guts up. It all hurt, and he didnt think he could take much more of it. I should have talked to Pomfrey last week when i started to get sick...
"Yes, you should have Harry. It would have gone away a lot sooner if you talked to her sooner." Draco answred out loud to Harry's thoughts. "You Know I care about you, and I don't want to see you like this. Come on, let's get you to the hospital wing. you need to rest. The stress of exams is already screwing with your sleep more than the nightmares. Maybe she can find out what's wrong and give you a cup of warm tea with a bit of Sleeping Draught." Draco finished, still holding Harry's hair back.
After Harry stopped puking, he wiped away the liquid at the corner of his mouth. It tasted nasty, but it wasnt the worst thing Harry had ever tasted. Draco helped him stand up, handing him his bag. Harry tried to smile, but his body ached. he had nothing left to puke up now, since he just puked up the last of his breakfast. He felt as though he should know what was wrong, like he had seen these symptoms before. he couldnt put his finger on it though. Draco hugged Harry, reassuring his boyfriend that everything was going to be fine.
When the boys got to the hospital wing, Pomfrey ran through her usual set of question. Harry was honest. He had to be. He wanted to find out what was wrong. Pomfrey asked Draco to step out fot a moment, and by the time she was done and let him back in, she looked a bit confsed.
"So?" Draco asked.
Harry's Face went bright red as Pomfrey cleared her throat, catching Draco's attention. Draco looked confused until those first two words made their way from her mouth to his ears.
"He's pregnant," she stated simply, "Im going to naturally assume you had no idea of this Mister Malfoy."
Draco's face went bright red in less than a second as he shook his head. he didnt have to wonder allowed how Harry had gotten pregnant. Pomfrey seemed to answer his thoughts.
"The potion I last gave him. Neither of you read the lable I put on it did you?" Both boys shook their heads. "I see. It was obvious, sort of." She sighed. "I had a list of side effects for certian events that possibly happen around the time a person consumes the potion. Males have a risky chance of pregnancy with taking that potion within 48 hours of intercourse with another male. Assuming the one consuming the potion happened to be the dominant one, he wouldnt get pregnant, but i can see thats not the case."
Both the boys blushed more than ever. A million thoughts were running through Harry's mind at the moment.
I can't beleive im pregnant- with Draco's child. this is so weird- What if he leaves me.. But he would never. He loves me. He wanted a child with me anyway. I guess his wish finally came true, but why did it have to be this soon? Merlin, Hope my face is at least a normal shade of red..
"I'm a dad?" Draco stuttered out, looking at Harry. "I'm going to be a dad." Harry nodded.
