Harry woke up, gasping for air. He looked around, realizing he wasn't in his aunt and uncle's house anymore.

"Harry. Harry, are you alright?" Draco asked, worried. He placed a hand on Harry's shoulder. Harry looked up at him with tears in his eyes, but nodded.

It had been a month since Scarlett was born, and no sooner had she been born, Albus was after Harry again. He had gotten away, but before he had, he made a promise to destroy everything dear to Harry. He only had nightmares every night since then. Nightmares about the Dursleys, and about Albus. Every thought of what could possibly happen to Draco or Scarlett filled Harry's mind.

Harry covered his face, and started to sob. he couldn't take it anymore. It was all too much to go through. Draco wrapped his arms around his boyfriend, kissing him on the forehead.

"Shh, I'm right here, and i'm not going anywhere." Draco whispered against Harry's skin.

Scarlett lay sleeping in her crib, silent except for her breathing. Harry wiped his tears, trying to regain composure. It wasn't easy to be alright after everything that had happened in the last year. No one expected Harry to be okay after everything, but he felt like he had to be. Draco pulled his head down onto his shoulder, gently rocking Harry a little to calm him down.

A few days later, Harry was walking around in the mannor, carrying Scarlett, when something caught his eye. An unusual door was open. He thought nothing of it, and closed the door, walking back to the main room. Narcissa was happy to see him up so early, and Lucius just smiled when he entered.

"Draco is still asleep," Harry said, a small smile on his face, "I'm surprised her crying didnt wake him up." Harry chuckled, walking over to sit by Narcissa. She smiled down at Scarlett, who was giggling and cooing in Harry's arms.

"May I?" Narcissa asked, gesturing to Scarlett. Harry nodded, letting Narcissa hold the baby girl. It was the first time she'd gotten to child Scarlett, and the look of pure love on her face warmed Harry's heart. This beautiful little girl was the best gift harry had ever gotten.

Harry had a new protective instinct, stronger than when he was around Draco. The love he felt for Scarlett was more than he'd ever felt in his life. There was no question that he would do anything for her to keep her safe and happy.

Narcissa held and played with Scarlett, so gentle. It was truly a beautiful sight. Narcissa tickled Scarlett, making the little girl giggle and laugh, squirming happily in her arms. Harry watched for a while before Lucius spoke up, starting a simple conversation.

"How did you sleep Harry?" His voice was kind, but sharp as always.

"It wasnt terrible. Draco has been the one usually getting up fir Scarlett, to let me sleep. Though- sometimes, at least once every few days, i wake up in a cold sweat, nearly screaming." Harry lowered his head, sighing. He knew he needed to talk to someone other than just Draco about his nightmares, but it was hard.

Lucius raised a brow, but before he could speak, a sense of dread washed over the room. Even Scarlett became uneasy.

"Ah, Harry. So you have a new member of the family now. Things are so much more interesting." A voice echoed in Harry's head. He froze. There was no way he was hearing this. Harry felt his breath vanish, replaced by nothing more or less than pure fear.
