Chapter 2 : That new neigborhood

•Riku's POV•

Today is my first day at school, although i'm not a person who loves to study, it's because it's a part of my plan, i have been watching this school for a while before enrolling in here, i need to find what i need as soon as possible before someone knows.

As i following the teacher to the class, i keep looking around to get used to the place so that my plan will be done smoothly, the moment i enter the room, all eyes are on me, all of them are looking at me but i can feel the fear in their eyes, except one person.

A guy with his blonde hair is looking at me, based on what i remember, i think we did met before, i can feel that he's afraid of me through his eyes, his eyes are shaking, after introducing myself, i come to my seat and sit down which is beside him.

I then turn to look at him with a awkward smile and say,

"Hello, i'm Riku, nice to meet you."

He then greets me and tells me his name, Yushi, but his voice tells that he doesn't want to talk to me at all, but my main mission here isn't walking around and making friends with them, i better finish what i need to do and leave this school.

It's lunch time now, everyone is going to the cafeteria, i then laid my head on the table and about to take a nap, but then a tall guy comes to me and greets me, he's the class president i think, but when i'm about to shake his hand, suddenly that Yushi guy pulls the tall guy's hand back, then they both left together.

I just smirk while looking at both of them, "That Yushi guy is interesting, i want to know more about him", i thought, seem like i have found an exciting thing in this school today.

While i'm reading a book, suddenly Yushi comes to me and says,

"Hey....sorry for my impolite action a while ago, i didn't think carefully before doing it."

But i just smile and say,

"It's okay, want to be friend ?"

It's now time to go home, but it's raining so heavy outside, but i didn't bring my umbrella with me today, while standing inside the hall and waiting for the rain to stop, but seems like it will last more than thirty more minutes, but it's already late now and i have to go home, so i just sigh and put my bag on the top of my head and run outside under the rain.

But there's an umbrella covering above me, i then realize that it's Yushi, he then looks at me and says,

"How could you go home under the rain without an umbrella like this, you might get sick."

I don't know why but his sudden action somehow warms my heart, it's because no one has ever been so kind to me like this before, up until now, it's only me taking care of myself, it's always only me treat myself well, no one is there beside me, even a single friend, i have no friend and i'm already got used to live alone.

We took a bus to go home and surprisingly, we live in the same neighborhood, his house isn't very far from my house, but i still have to walk a bit more further to get to my house, so he let me borrow his umbrella, thanks to Yushi, i finally got home without being soaked in the rain.

I then prepare for myself a hot cup of tea and sit down on the sofa then turn on the TV to watch some news, after drink a bit of tea, i feel much better now, today i have done a lot of things which i have never done before in my life, going to school and even making new friends, that doesn't sound right to me.
