Prologue ~ Edited
Blood splatted the walls. What once was a pretty blue colour was now a horrid bright crimson red. Its iron sent stained the air, like the small anchor tattoo around Red's wrist. Shadows danced in the slim light.
She could still hear their scream echoing in her mind, loud and clear like day break. The howls louder than the screams of her now dead parents. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't move.
She sat in the small cubed under the sink, blood slipping through the crack in the door. Waiting, she had no idea what she was waiting for, but Red did not movie. Her tears long gone. The sound of sirens shattered the silence. What Red saw outside of the cubed will be forever carved into the back of her mind.
