It's been some days now that Hyunjin was living at Han's place, 3 days to be precise. Han would let his friend meet his bohemian alone for 4 to 5 hours per day, on the afternoon. Then the rest of the time, he would pass it trying to heal his relationship with his mom.
Today, he wanted to meet the bohemian a bit longer. Now most of his friends knows he got a crush on that mysterious girl nobody knew details about but he did know now some of her detail.
She got a beauty spot on the very middle of her back, and her hands are so sweet and delicate... She actually loves Lana del Rey but like really, and loves the song 'Cinamon girl'... her favorite color is white, she only wears it, she makes her own clothes with sheets her grandma makes. She smells like vanilla and she hates coffee, and that's funny because she always has that energy that I don't have when I do drink coffee...
Hyunjin was burried in his thought looking at the ceiling. It was 8:34 a.m as he checks on the clock, his friend fast asleep beside him. He wanted to wake him up to demand if he could go see his muse for a bit longer today. But he had an idea.
He got up softly not waking up Han and his parents, dressing up and living a note to han saying "hi hannie just to clarify I am not going to try anything stupid, I'm just cooking at my mom's place, because I know she's up that early, plus I wanna stay a bit longer this time in the woods, cause I miss it. I'll have my phone anyway don't worry"
He plugs the post-it on the back of the door so that Han has to see it before closing his door behind his steps. He regains his own home, softly knocking on the door to then open it, seeing his mom doing laundry. He was lowkey surprised.
"Mom?"
"...Hyunjin??"
He smiled, being proud she finally started to take life back in her hands. But felt guilty when he saw his own clothes on the drying rack.
"Oh I'm sorry I didn't help you with that..."
She smiles in sympathy.
"You were not feeling well, I understand that you didn't have any motivation to do it yourself..."
He tilts his head to run to his mom's embrace, squeezing her with a son's love, she sighs a smile.
"I missed that sympathy of yours.."
"I missed you..."
He slides off her embrace.
"Now, are you going to tell me what are you doing here without your friend?"
"I woke up early and had an idea, I wanted to cook some cookies for someone."
"Ouuh and who is that?"
She asked turning to her laundry.
He was quite embarassed but had to be honest."Well that time I was out all day without my phone was when I was in the wood spending my time with the girl I painted, so I've been meeting her under a time restriction from Han for me to spend time sometimes with you, but sorry today I want to know her more"
His mom was a bit surprised and felt guilty about the paint, but she showed a wild smile.
"It's okay!!! We can make those cookies for my future daughter-in-law"
"Mom!!!..."
He hides his face from embarasment, turning his back to her hiding his blush. His mom laughing a lot from how he was acting.
"Ugh okay okay... I'll give you some help anyway."
They started cooking in a joyful moment, something Hyunjin hasn't experienced in years. But he felt good, he felt the love of his mom that was healing, maybe too hearly to say healed, but still evoluating.
They finished the cookies, and they packed it in pink coquette package, Hyunjin was quite embarassed of the idea of his mom to wrap it in such colors but he didn't have a choice anyway. He took the cookies with some sided apart for Han. He quickly knocks on Han's door and Han himself opens the door.
"Here."
"I was going to shout at you to be a rebel like this but just because you sided some for me, I'll let you go for the whole day with her. Go."
His gaze lighten up to his words, he quickly ran away with a excited wave on his hand to say goodbye, leaving Han smiling shaking his head.
Hyunjin take that path again, his heart knowing where she waits for him, his step guiding him as his feet were guided by his soul, the freshly cooked cookies in his pinky packet.
I cannot wait to see her again...
He arrives with a confident step. But she wasn't there, her favorite spot was emptied.
"What is this??"
He hears from above, making him tilt his head up, she was there, pretty as usual, she was hanging herself by her knees on a strong tree branch, her head a level above his because her hand was holding on the branch, keeping her upper body high. She had a different white dress, as always.
"Cookies"
"First time you come with something you baked..."
"Haha that's true, I made them with my mom before coming here"
He smiled, she looked confused but she liked the initiative he took for her. She let go the branch off her hands, lowing her head from a level, making her face close to his by miscalculating her move.
"Ouh... sorry"
He smiles at her cute embarassment.
"It's okay... here take a bite"
He takes a cookie to lead it to her lips, she backs up being 'careful'. He makes a quick grin. But he got comprehensive.
"Are you scared of something?"
"I got poisoned in school... so.."
"Oh!"
He light up again his gaze, but was still sorry about that fact about her. But to show respect, he took himself a bite off the cookie, and after swallowing the smashed piece of biscuit, he lead it again to her lips. She was stunned about how sweet and careful he was with his.
"They're pretty good, so please take a bite I'll be grateful"
She smiles again, taking a bite off the pastry. Her eyes automaticly light up while analysing the taste of his work. She softly giggles while eating the cookie, making him melt from cuteness.
"I love it!!"
