(akito pov)

It was just another normal day for us.
We were over at the cafe hanging out and rehearsing like we always used to, an and kohane were singing some random song all out of tune while they were laughing, toya was drinking coffee and looking at them with a kind smile while sitting next to me, i was just scrolling through my phone minding my own business.

Even though this was the normal for us to just hang out in the evenings, most of the time rehearsing and sometimes just goofing around and having fun like today, something felt different, but i couldn't quite put my finger into it...
After a while of just laughing and singing horribly on purpose, an and kohane finally put an end to my torture and sit down next to us.

"Guys... We have something to tell you...", announced an, being interrupted by her own giggling and squealing.
Toya and i looked back at them curious of knowing what could they possibly be telling us. Both girls looked at eachother while giggling and to both my surprise and confusion they held hands.

I looked back at toya hoping for some explanation as if it was some sort of inside joke but he looked just as confused as i did. Both girls kept giggling and smirking at eachother but didn't say anything, i stared in confusion until i heard toya gasp and covering his mouth, suddenly it felt as if they had pulled a prank on me or something.

"I don't get it",i said "whats so funny?, its just you two being as cheesy as always"

Apparently i had let out the biggest joke ever because they both started cackling like crazy.

"IM SO SORRY", an wheezed, "I GENUINELY TRIED TO TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY BUT I CAN'T"
I just stared at them in annoyance, was this an inside joke?, i was tapped by toya in the shoulder, clearly he knew something i didn't.

"Is this a joke? because I don't get it", i exclaimed.
"Akito...", toya mumbled under his breath clearly still surprised.
"Akito they are dating"
...
"What?"

"Akito they are dating"
Toya repeated the sentence again but still, something didn't sit right with me.
Sure an talked about how much she loved kohane 90% of the time but that could not possibly mean they are dating??
Ena also talks a lot about akiyama and that doesn't mean-
...
As a matter of fact ena was dating akiyama....
She never explicitly said so but they were being quite close last time akiyama stayed over...

Maybe i just chose a bad example.

I admit it, i do tend to talk about toya a lot of the time but that doesn't mean i like him? Right?

My head started hurting of thinking so much of many different things, i was snapped back into reality by kohane admitting that toya was right.

Still, something didn't sit right with me.

Toya smiled at them with that classic warm and kind smile of his before congratulating them on their relationship, this whole situation felt so weird to me so i remained silent.

When did everyone just randomly started dating people?
It was not only them that had just gotten together, other than my sister and these two many of my friends at school had also told me about their new partners, even toya seemed to be into the relationship thing lately...

I just didn't get what the hype was.
