Emergency Room

Where the fun and chaos mix together giving you a sneak peak of what hell looks like.

Everybody who works in healthcare knows that if you can survive E.R. then you can survive anywhere. And the St. Raphael's E.R. is ruled by the one and only Zee Pruk Panich. He has been the only one brave enough to take on the position in such a young age making him the youngest and most respected head nurse in the entire hospital. Under his management, the effectivity, safe practice, staff morale and retention has greatly increased. Everybody knows who he is, not just for being an effective leader with an iron fist but also for being kind and considerate to his staff.
Zee Pruk never abandons his ship. He always steps up when needed and supports his staff to the fullest. He never believed that head nurses are to be stuck in an office.

That's what admins are for.
He usually says.

He firmly believes that head nurses should lead the team from the floor, not from the office. Thats why you would always see him outside his office with his staff instead of being cooped up inside his office staring at a computer screen.

Today though, Zee is in a difficult situation. A senior staff had to call off due to their child being unwell.

"Boss Im really sorry for leaving you short. We are understaffed as it is."

Rachel said to Zee

"Rachel, its fine. We will cope, we always do. You go and focus on your a little one. Leave nurse rachel alone for a while and be mama rachel. We are alright here. Focus on what's more important and that's your kid Rach"

Zee said to her

"Thanks Boss, Im lucky to have a manager like you"

Rachel emotionally told Zee

"Now stop being an emotional mush and call me when you think you'll be back. Take care of yourself too Rach, you're important too. I cant replace you wonderwoman"

Zee lightened up the situation to make Rachel feel better

"Will do boss, thanks again! Work safe!"

Rachel said before Zee hung up.

Zee bit his lip and tapped his fingers on the table. They are already thin on the ground and Zee planned to pick up the slack to cover the missing man power. But with them lacking one more, it just means that Zee would need to work double time.

Zee sighed and rubbed his temples. He then called in for a quick morning huddle before the chaos ensues.

"Alright, you all know we are already thin, but we have to spare Rachel today too. We need to pick up our pace. Work safe comes first versus working fast. If people need to wait, then they wait. Okay?!"
Zee told his staff

"I will coordinate the floor and work in resus at the same time. Sarah and Laure, you're with me. James, Isabella and Tina you're on triage. Better make sure that only those who needs the beds stay on beds. The rest we manage either on minors or in waitimg room. Got it?"
The nurses all nodded at Zee

"Lily and Lissa you're in minors. Lillian and Shruti you're on pediatrics. Poppy and Gee you're on backslab today. Sel, Daryka, Kego, and Claudia, you are on bays."
Zee ordered.

"Uhmm, boss. What about me and Ashley?"
Louise raised her hand up.

"You two will be on minor surgery. You will float for the mean time"
Zee told her.

"Alright, lets get this shit show on the road everyone. Work safe!"
Zee said to them before his staff dispursed.

Zee breathed deeply as he looks around.
