The alarm blaring through the plane mixed with Torres' loud voice woke Melissa with a start, gasping so hard she choked. Opening her eyes to see Bucky staring across from him at Sam (who was staring back at Sam with the same furiosity) made her groan, reaching up to rub her eyes. She suddenly sat up, swinging her legs so that her feet were touching the floor.

Sam leaned forward first, Bucky resting back to show how unbothered he was by the stupid staring contest. Looking back and forth, Melissa stood slowly and then - slowly again - walked towards the wide open door that Torres was standing by. She whispered, leaning closer to his ear, "How long have they been doing that?" Her hand reached to place the Comm device in her ear.

"I genuinely could not tell you."

She pursed her lips and tilted her head, "Great."

Sam had broken the stare first, standing to collect his goggles and other things he needed. However, it was Bucky who broke the silence between them first, "So, what's our plan?" Apparently having taken a sudden vow of silence, Sam stayed silent. "Great! So no plan." Bucky sat back down.

Muttering to herself, Melissa held the handle and leant outwards, peaking at the vast drop beneath them. "I am working with fucking children." Excitement filled her stomach at the thought of flying.

"Thirty Seconds!" Torres shouted next to her.

Sam turned to Bucky, a silly smirk on his face. "Enjoy your ride, Buck."

"No, you can't call me that."

"Why not? That's what Steve called you. Hell, even Melissa calls you that sometimes!" Sam was pouting again.

Bucky spoke as though it were facts, "Steve knew me longer. And Steve had a plan. And well, Melissa is my friend."

"Aw, thanks, Buck." Rubbing it in Sam's face, Melissa waved at Sam.

"Fifteen seconds to drop!" Torres shouted next to Melissa.

"Oh! Must you shout in my ear!"

"I have a plan." Sam walked to stand next to Melissa and Torres.

Bucky also stood, "Really?" As Sam leant forward, ready to plummet through the drop. "What is it?" Sam jumped, his wings folding out. Bucky mumbled, "Great. Where's the chute?"

"We're at 200 feet, it's too low for a chute." Bucky marched forward, standing next to Melissa.

"I don't need one anyway." He stood apprehensive at the deep drop ahead of him.

"You sure about that?"

A quick glance at Melissa, who was far too eager for the large jump ahead of them, then back at Torres, "Yeah." He nodded.

He ripped his sleeve from his metal arm, revealing the jet black and gold accented mechanical arm. It was impressive, and Melissa was amazed every single time she saw the vibranium of his arm. He launched himself out of the plane, yelling fearfully. "He is so angry." Melissa said shrugging, then turning her back, falling backwards into the air below.

A shrill of excitement escaped her throat as she rolled to face the impending ground below. Out of the corner of her peripheral, Melissa watched as Bucky plummeted into the sharp trees, somehow still screaming. Her hands shot out by her side, the familiar green mist coating her ankles and hands. The fall broke as her body was held in the air. "Bucky, stay where you are, I'm coming to meet you!" She flew over, dodging all of the brutal branches and leaves that seemed to have a sudden agenda towards her.

It only took a couple of seconds for her feet to touch the floor. Bucky was still lying on the floor, squinting his closed eyes and taking deep breaths through his open mouth. "Are you alive?" Her foot gently kicked his side, to which he yanked her foot; Melissa then joined him on the floor with a thunk. "Dickhead."
