Last night was very emotional. Kelsey woke up and stared at her ceiling. A lot of things were said without giving Kelsey a minute to process. With Andrew getting beaten to a pulp and Eric asking her to be his it was all very twilight. What does it even mean to be his? Is that vampire slang for dating? Thankfully she doesn't have work today, there was a party going on for Sam's brother. Finally she sat up and put her robe on. She heard Sookie downstairs probably making breakfast. She really didn't want to deal with Sookie's judgement right now but so be it. She waltz down stairs to see Sookie making breakfast for a different man. Does Bill know this guy ? 

"Goodmorning." She said while walking to the fridge to pour herself some orange juice.

"Kelsey this is my friend Alcede." Sookie said.

That name sounded familiar until she realized Alcede is in Andrews pack. She dropped her glass from her hand and gasped. 

"Kelsey. I didn't come here for you. I came to warn you. I can only do so much, but Andrew wants you. That little stunt Eric pulled last night, he's wants both of you." Alcede warned.

"What am I supposed to do! He will kill me !" Kelsey voice starting shaking.

"Andrew did some fucked up stuff not long after you left and the pack has to deal with him. But to get you out of his mind, I think it would be best if you went on vacation or something. Get out of the state. Warn Eric too, both of you are not safe." Alcede stood up giving a smile to Sookie and Kelsey then leaving. 

"What the hell happened that night Kelsey ? " Sookie exclaimed.

"Andrew came to Fangtasia last night to take me back and Eric didn't let him." Kelsey drifted off into telling Sookie all the details. Sookie got more irritated by the minute and rolled her eyes and walked away. What is her problem with Eric? There's only 3 more hours until sundown so Kelsey took the time to stop by Merlotte's to tell Sam she is going to be going away for 2 weeks. She needs to get the hell out of Louisiana before Andrew finds her. Surprisingly Sam doesn't mind his employees not being able to come into work. Kelsey never had a job like that, but she has worked for Andrew in his shop for the past 3 years so maybe it was just Andrew. It just turned sundown so Kelsey find it be best to start walking home. The shortcut through the cemetery, she made a few stops at her loved ones tomb stones. She stopped at her Grans tombstone, while shedding a single tear she heard leaves rustling behind her. She only could see the yellow eyes through the darkness. She ran, as fast as her legs could take her. This was it. This was Andrew coming to take his revenge. 

She was so scared for her life. She could see her house in front of her. In a flash Eric was in front of her. 

"Kelsey, stop. Alcede filled me in, we are going to Texas tomorrow evening. Alcede promised to watch over you while I hit ground for the morning." Eric said calmly.

"How do you know Alcede?" She panted. 

"Family friend. "Eric responded shortly. "Invite me so I can protect you tonight and Alcede will be with you in the morning."

Kelsey obliged and let Eric in. She walked straight upstairs since Sookie was going to be spending the night at Bills. She got dressed in her pajamas, a tank top and shorts and climbed into bed with Eric. He wrapped his arms around her making her feel safe. As she rested her head on his cold chest she asked, 

"What does it mean to be yours?"

"You will be mine completely. I would be able to protect you always." He said while playing with her hair.

"So I would be your girlfriend?" She teased.

"More than that." He said.

Wanting to think more Kelsey fell asleep wrapped in Erics arms.

Kelsey woke up with a smile on her face thinking about last night. She could care less about Andrew coming after her. She rolled out of bed humming a tune in her head. She got dressed, brushed her hair, and came downstairs. No sign of Sookie, she might be at Merlotte's. She starting playing music from her phone and made breakfast for herself. Dancing while frying up some bacon until there was a knock at the front door. She danced her all the way to the door and opened it to meet eyes with a shirtless Alcede. 

"Well good morning to you too." She laughed.

"Good morning Kels, smells good in there." He said.

"Come on in! I made wayyy to much food." She laughed and invited him in.

They both walked into the kitchen, Alcede sat at the table while Kelsey made him a plate and poured him a glass of sweet tea. Still dancing to the playlist on her phone, Alcede noticed her giddyness. 

"You seem to be in a good mood." He laughed while taking a bite out of his food.

"It seems I am." She convinced herself.

He shrugged laughing at the dancing girl. Since she told Sam that she would be going away she doesn't have to go into work today. Unsure if she was going to see Sookie before she leaves she opted to leave her a note. While Alcede finished up his food, Kelsey walked into the living room to find a pen and paper and brought it back to the kitchen. She sat and left a note reading,

Dear Sookie,

     I dont know when you will be reading this but I will be somewhere in Texas by then. Andrew found me and it wont give up until I am dead. Your friend Alcede and his pack will take care of Andrew while I am gone. I am going to Texas with Eric since Andrew now wants both of us. I will be safe, stay out of trouble Sook. Love you always.

"Do you know when we are leaving?" Kelsey asked Alcede.

"Eric is going to be on his way at sundown, so only a few hours tops." Alcede responded.

"Cool are you just going to hang out here until he gets here ?" She asked.

"Yeah, if that's okay with you. Those were Erics orders." he said.

"Yeah, no problem. I'm just going to run upstairs to shower and pack. If you need anything just holler." Kelsey said as she ran up the stairs to shower and to pack up her things. 

While she showered she thought about what she should wear, how long she is staying for, her mind was racing. She got out of the warm shower, did her hair and headed to her room to pack. She didn't know what to wear or what to bring so she packed 2 suitcases. She put on the tv while she did her makeup. Time must of been flying by cause she heard the someone at the door and Alcede answered. It was Eric.

"Alcede could you help me up here!" She hollered.

Alcede shrugged and gave Eric a mischievous smirk resulting in Alcede giggling while going upstairs. He just wanted to tease Eric, he knew how much Eric must care for Kelsey if he would go through all this trouble for her. Eric waited for the both of them to come downstairs, it felt like forever for him. He just wanted to see her and hug her. He looked towards the stairs when Alcede struggled to carry both suitcases down the steps. Walking close behind him was a hysterical Kelsey, laughing at the poor man trying to lug all her clothes down the stairs.

"Packed pretty heavy Kels?" Eric laughed.

"I'd say." Alcede responded while bringing the suitcases to the car.

Kelsey finally reached Eric in the doorway and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"You ready ?" She smiled.

He motioned for Kelsey to walk out first and guided her towards his car. They both thanked Alcede for his help and got into the car and they were on there way to Texas.
