What Happened

Kelsey woke up to Sookie and Bill coming in. She lifted her head up and once she realized it was them she placed her head back down on what she thought was a pillow and closed her eyes until Sookie gasped, making Kelsey shoot up realizing she was leaning on Eric's chest

"Eric! What are you doing in my house ? With my Cousin ? You sick bastard, you will not make her into one of your fang banger toys!" Sookie yelled making the both of you stand up quickly.

"It wasn't like that. We were just watching a movie and she fell asleep on me." He said cockily.

"Sook, its okay I can handle myself." Kelsey responded. She knows Sookie just being protective about her but she is yelling in the middle of the night. 

"Leave Eric, I can't even deal with you right now!" Sookie said sternly. 

Eric put on his jacket and started heading for the door as Kelsey followed him to the door to apologize for her cousin.

"I'm sorry about Sook, she's just worried about me that's all but thank you for tonight. You didn't have to sit with me while I slept but for the first time in a while, I felt safe." Kelsey confessed.

"Don't worry, I've gotten my fair share of being yelled at by Sookie. I don't know why but I'm interested in you and I will make sure your safe. I'll come back tomorrow to pick you up, we are going to go out. "He starts to walk out.

"Wait! I cant go anywhere in Shreveport, so its probably safer to just stay here or go someplace in Bon Temps." Kelsey said panicked.

"Don't worry about it. I will see you tomorrow and dress nice, I wanna see some of that skin tomorrow. Maybe some heels too." He smirked.

"Goodnight Eric Northman." She kissed each side of his face on his cheeks. 

"Goodnight Kelsey Stackhouse." He said as he flew up.

Daylight is going to be soon so Bill was leaving by the time Kelsey came out of her Eric trance. 

"Goodnight ladies. I will see you two tomorrow night." Bill stated as he walked out the door and closed it behind him.

Morning *

Kelsey and Sookie haven't said anything to each other since the blowup last night and since they both needed to cool off before having a conversation. They both had work at Merlotte's this morning so they got ready and carpooled to the bar. The dramatic scene from last night kept replaying in Kelsey's mind. Sookie's anger. Erics seductiveness. Why did she feel comfortable enough to spend time with a vampire by herself last night? Is she really going to go out with a vampire tonight? Finally after being trapped in her thoughts she blurts out.

"Do you not like Eric?" 

"Its not that I don't like him. I just don't trust him. He has put me in a lot of dangerous situations to save his own ass. He's manipulative. He is just not someone you should be around after you know, Andrew." Sookie ranted off.

"I'm going out with him tonight." Kelsey blurted out as the car pulled into the gravel driveway to Merlotte's. 

Kelsey gets out of the car before Sookie has time to respond. They walk in silence into the comforting bar. Everyone's eyes shoot at Kelsey as she walks through the door. After being with vampires the past few hours she understands why Sook enjoys their company. She doesn't hear them. She doesn't have to listen to peoples judgement or nasty thoughts. Kelsey doesn't find herself as attractive as most people do, but hearing how some of these men think of her it scares her.
