Inside the Gazebo, Sera inquired once more, "What are you here for mother?"

"What? Can't a mother come to visit her daughter?" Ravenna countered playfully.

"Oh! Then will you stay for a few days?" Sera jested.

"Unfortunately, we can't. When she received the report that her grandchildren were close to being sacrificed to a demon, she immediately rushed over, throwing everything aside," Lila responded in Ravenna's stead.

"Oh" Sera understood.

"Your tongue seems particularly loose today," Ravenna narrowed her eyes.

Giku Lila flinched.

"It seems it needs some punishment. I will make sure to fill both your mouths tightly. You can forget your sleep tonight." Ravenna smiled dangerously.

Lila became frightened for a bit, squirmed her legs, swallowed her saliva nervously, licked her lips, nodded and said meekly with a blush on her cheeks, "Okay."

'Gulp, Aunt Eleanor seems to inherit her sadistic nature from grandmother.' Tia gulped internally.

'Or is it a trait of the family?' Tia thought, looking at Sera.

"Then at least stay for the night," Sera chuckled.

"I can't. I'm already on a tight schedule. Now that your plan has succeeded, we're at a crucial step."

'What plan?' Tia thought.

"Now is the time to expand our influence and stabilize our position. I have to help Count Adrian too. Not to mention I have an additional agenda."

'Agenda???' Sera is puzzled as she isn't aware of it.

"In the next few years, I'll probably be very busy. That's why I rushed to settle your matters first."

'Adrian? Where did I hear this name?' Tia tried to recall.

"I heard you visited the shrine?" asked Sera.

"Hmm," Ravenna nodded.

"What do you think?"

"That old monster is as healthy as ever."

"Will you be able to fight them?"

Ravenna pondered for a moment. "Hard to say. If I am to fight them alone, it might end up in my loss. If I fight along with my wives, then maybe we can make a draw."

"Kevin is still in his growth phase. In the future, I am certain that he will become an even stronger monster than Benedict. I think he is definitely from an ancient family. It's better if we don't mess with them anymore."

"Why? Do you want to get rid of them or something?"

"No, I just wanted to gauge their capabilities," Sera shook her head.

"Good. It is better if you don't take any more risks."

"I know. Is there a way to thank them?"

"You want to thank those priests?" Lila interjected, surprised.

"The extent of Malachi and Ethan's corruption went beyond my calculations. It was a huge blunder on my part. Even if I have the Lamia's Embrace, I might not have been able to make it in time to save Vina and Tia. If it wasn't for Kevin and Benedict, I might have lost my reason for living. I really owe them big time. I can pay the villagers who went on rescue with money. But I couldn't think of anything I can give them as repayment," Sera explained.

'Plan? Adrian? Malachi? Ethan?'

'Huh! I remember now. These were the names of fishes in the story mother told us when Aunt Eleanor visited last year.' Tia recalled.
