As I scanned the classroom, my eyes landed on an empty chair and my heart sank. That could only mean one thing - K.C. was going to be in my class. My gaze then shifted to the bookbag hook and I realized that I had unintentionally moved farther away from it. I hesitated for a moment before deciding to place my bag on the hood of a nearby desk and made my way to my usual seat, feeling a mix of apprehension and resignation.
3 minutes later
As I walked into the class, I noticed Xavier accompanied by K.C. The duo was exploring the lab room, and I couldn't help but admire how K.C. was giving Xavier a tour of the place. However, it struck me as odd because Xavier is usually an introvert and doesn't open up to new people that easily. Nonetheless, it was a pleasant sight to see them bonding over the laboratory equipment.l
10 minutes later

It's been a while since I'd seen Xavier as I looked around (side to side) I peered in the back where K.C. would sit and saw Xavier helping him then as I kept looking back there my eyes started to water at the sight
But I quickly turned around as I saw Xavier start to move
As Xavier started walking back to his seat I calmed down and looked at the chemicals
