As the evening came, Abhiraj returned from his office, checked all the arrangements, and went to get ready. He took a shower and wore his newly stitched black Armani suit. He put on his watch, sprayed his favorite cinnamon perfume, and went to meet his siblings.
Slowly, guests began to fill the huge ballroom of Rathore House. Businessmen, politicians, actors, and celebrities from all over the world were seen here.
Abhiraj made his grand entry with his siblings. Atharv was on his right, and Rhea and Rohit were on his left, walking in their signature powerful stride. Power radiated from them, as was expected from the Rathores.
Atharv asked him in a hushed tone, "Why are there so many people?" As he was an introvert and hated gatherings .I chuckled and replied, "It's the birthday party of Bade Hukum, of course. There are going to be many guests; these are just 1/4 of them."
They saw their parents and went towards them. Meera rotated some money on their heads and gave it to a passing waiter, saying, "Aaye mere bacho ko kisi ki Nazar na lag jaye!" Everyone chuckled, accustomed to her drama. Maya came and kissed their heads. She said to Abhiraj, "Ek dum Raja lag raha hai." "Woh toh woh already hai," said Atharv, Rohit, and Rhea in union, and he smirked. After some more talking, everyone got scattered in the hall to greet the guests.
While at the Chauhan house, Omkar and Nita were already ready, waiting for Advika to return from the hospital. She was stuck with an emergency case. She had messaged them half an hour ago that she would reach the house in 15 mins, but she still hadn't come. Nita was getting worried, thinking of worst-case scenarios, while Omkar assured her that nothing bad would happen.
Advika entered the house looking tired, as she had performed a critical surgery on a 5-year-old. Abhimanyu came downstairs, all set to go. Nita asked her, "Why were you so late? You know I was so worried for you." "Maa, surgery kaafi der tak chali isiliye. Just give me five minutes; I will get ready quickly," she said. "Maa, papa, aap log niklo, hum bhi bas aa rahe hain," suggested Abhimanyu. "Yeah, but come safely," said Omkar. "Bhai, aap baitho, mein fatafat ready ho kar aati hu," Advika said to Abhimanyu. "Jaldi aana."
Exactly after 20 minutes, Advika came downstairs wearing a beautiful black netted saree, looking absolutely stunning, while fixing her earrings. "Waah, aaj madam jaldi ready ho gayi," Abhimanyu taunted her with a playful tone, as she never gets ready this quickly. "Bhai, chalna hai ki nahi?" asked Advika, already tired. Despite her fatigue, a smile graced her lips at the sight of her brother's teasing.
As they made their way to Rathore House, Advika couldn't help but feel a sense of apprehension. She was not accustomed to attending lavish parties, her time usually consumed by her studies and work at the hospital.
Upon arriving at the grand estate, Abhimanyu took it upon himself to introduce Advika to the esteemed Rathore family. As their parents were busy meeting their business partners and friends, with a confident smile, he led her through the crowd until they reached the center of the ballroom, where the Rathores held court.
"Advika, meet the Rathore family," Abhimanyu said, gesturing towards the elegant group before them. "This is Ranveer Uncle, Meera Aunty, Raj Uncle, Maya Aunty, and the younger Rathores: Rohit, Rhea, and Atharv."
She greeted the younger clan with a polite smile on her face, feeling a bit out of place amidst the opulence of the gathering. "Nice to meet you all," she greeted, her voice soft but sincere.
"By the way, Aunty, where is Abhiraj?" Abhimanyu inquired to Maya.
"He was here just a moment ago. I'm not sure where he went," Maya replied, slightly perplexed.
Just then, Abhiraj arrived. Abhimanyu and Abhiraj did their bro hug, and Abhimanyu proceeded to introduce Advika to Abhiraj.
"Abhi, meet my sweet little sister, Advika Chauhan, also a very famous surgeon," Abhimanyu said, presenting Advika to Abhiraj.
Their eyes met, and time seemed to stand still for a brief moment. In that fleeting instant, amidst the chatter and laughter of the party, a silent understanding passed between them, unspoken words echoing in the depths of their eyes.
In Abhiraj's eyes, there was a flicker of curiosity, a spark of intrigue ignited by the sight of this captivating woman before him. He couldn't help but be drawn to the quiet strength that emanated from her, the determination etched in the lines of her face.
And in Advika's eyes, there was a glimmer of warmth, a hint of recognition that mirrored his own curiosity. She found herself inexplicably drawn to this enigmatic man standing before her, his presence exuding an air of confidence and mystery.
For a moment, their gaze lingered, a silent exchange passing between them like a secret shared between kindred spirits.
As their eyes locked in that intense moment of connection, a sudden commotion erupted across the ballroom, drawing everyone's attention. Amidst the chaos, Abhiraj's phone buzzed with an urgent message, and he excused himself, promising to return shortly.
Left alone with Advika, Abhimanyu exchanged a knowing glance with her, hinting at the intrigue and mystery that seemed to surround Abhiraj. What could this sudden interruption mean? And how would it impact the budding connection between Abhiraj and Advika? Only time would tell, as they navigated the twists and turns of fate that awaited them at Rathore House.
