Chapter: 13

Third person POV

Esmeray was sitting in the lawn looking at her dad and Sam uncle having tea and discussing some matter.

To not make their children older than their age both the families decided to keep their children away from the work. So whenever they discuss work, all the children are supposed to be away from them.

Esmeray was lost in her thoughts that she didn't notice someone sitting next to her. It was not until they kept their hand on Esmeray's shoulder and she was going to punch them but stopped after seeing it was none other than Delbert.

She put her hand down and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. "I am sorry." She said and blushed.

He smiled and shook his head. "It's ok, my princess." He said and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. She put her head on his chest and he caressed her hair.

"Ace" Esmeray called Delbert and he looked down at her and motioned at her to continue. "You know right you are my first best friend. I mean I am always around you, Aster and Emyr. Emyr is my brother, being with Aster is because our parents are best friends but you," she removed her head from his chest and looked at him. "You are the first person I have chosen to be with me. Always know whether you have someone with you or not. I will always be there for you." Esmeray squeezed his hand and he smiled.

"When did my shortie become so big?" He asked and chuckled. Esmeray pouted and folded her hand on her chest.

"I don't like you. Get lost." She said and Delbert laughed loudly. Seeing her best friend laughing wholeheartedly she smiled and sent a prayer to always keep her best friend happy. "Let's go inside." She said and got up. She gave her hand to him and he took it and stood up.

They both went inside to see Aster shouting at his parents. "I WANT ONE TOO!!!" Aster shouted so loudly that Emyr covered his ears with his hands.

"What's wrong?" Asked Esmeray who just entered the scene and was walking beside Delbert.

"Oh finally you are here!" Exclaimed Emyr. "Please give some brain to this idiot here who is losing his own." Emyr told his sister.

"But what happened?" Asked Delbert.

"This idiot wants a sibling." Mrs Rayburn said and face palmed.

Esmeray smiled listening to him. "And why is that Mr Aster?" She raised her eyebrow at him.

"I am jealous of you and Emyr." He mumbled but everyone heard him and laughed.

Mrs Rozell came in front and took him in her arms. "Aww my sweet prince, no worries I will pray to God that you get a sibling soon." She said and Aster smiled. He hugged her and nodded his head.

"But I will keep the name!" Shouted Esmeray and ran towards her mother.

"No you won't!" Said Aster.

"SHUT UP BOTH OF YOU!" Emyr shouted and looked at both of them. "Aster you kept my sister name, now let her keep your sibling name." He tried explaining to him and Aster half hartley said yes and Esmeray jumped and hugged Delbert.

"Ace, I can finally name someone with my favourite name." She said smiling widely and Delbert nodded his head.

"So Della aunt I wish you will have a daughter and we will name her 'Nyx'." She commanded like a queen would and the way her voice echoed in every corner of the palace. Now both the palace knew that one day they will get one more princess named 'Nyx'.
