Vincenzo POV

"I can't fucking believe they slipped through our fingers."Cassio,my brother snarled while pacing in my office.

I am sitting in the chair,my elbows leaning on the table.In front of me,my two eldest son Alessandro and Santino are sitting on the chair.

"Calm down dad."Hades,my nephew,is sitting on the couch.Besides him Apollo,my other nephew is sitting.

"Yay,calm down babe."Adeline,my sister in law is sitting in the corner of the couch besides Apollo,munching blueberry scones.

"How can you be this calm Adeline when our sons and nephews sneaked out of the house to attend a race even though they are grounded?"Cassio stopped pacing in the room and looked at Adeline seriously.She looked at him,after swallowing the delicious food,she snorted.

"Oh,please when you were younger you did much worse than this.Apple doesn't fall far from the tree Babe." She quoted and continued on her food.He just looked at her unbelievably,Apollo snorted.

I just shook my head, that's Adeline for you.She never shouts or scold her sons or nephews until or unless it went too far.She spoils them the most. She is crazy on a whole other level.I have no doubt that she is the one who helped them sneak out.I also know that she had sent bodyguards behind them,she knows the risks and dangers,playing with their lives is something she will never even think of. There is just no way,they sneaked out without any guards noticing.We have been more right and strict about our security since that day,that unfortunate day.

My eyes flickered on the photo frame resting in my desk.

No Vincenzo.

Not now.

"Don't get so worked up Zio.They are teenagers.They tend to do this kind of things."Santino said trying to calm him.He is the peacemaker, always making sure his brothers gets least punishment.

"I-"Ermanno barged in through the door cutting off Cassio.

"They're pulling up in the garage dad." He informed us.

"That's strange they were supposed to come in through window to avoid being noticed.I mean they don't know we know."Hades said deeply furrowing his eyebrows.I looked at Adeline.Sensing my gaze she looked at my direction and raised her eyebrows.

"I swear I didn't tell them."She said, surrendering her hands.

"It doesn't matter how they are coming, nothing is gonna spare them from punishment this time."Cassio stared pointedly at Adeline,who just rolled her eyes and started exiting the room,us following behind.

Nothing is gonna spare them from punishment, my ass.

As if Adeline would let us punish them hard.

Voices can be heard from the living room.We entered the room and everyone in the room looked at us including those four musketeers.

"Dad you won't bel-"

"You four are unbelievable.Sneaking out even after being grounded."

Luca didn't get to complete his statement as Cassio started to scold them the moment he saw them.

"Dad first listen t-"Hector,my nephew stepped forward trying to say something.

"No,don't you even try to justify your carelessness."Cassio again cuts them off and continued with the scoldings.

Something is wrong.

They didn't try to sneak in the house.

I can see the restlessness in their face.My nephew,Ajax is biting his lips. Hector is tapping his foot on the floor.Luca is pinching his wrist continuously.Luciano is looking at the floor.
