I arrived at Club Royalé a little late so I was expecting that by this time, Yi Sook was asking the others where I am already. It's a little crowded when I entered the club and the booming music was deafening. The bright lights were flashing and everybody was dancing through the rhythm. I crinkled my nose as I smelled the mixed sweat and alcohol lingering in the whole room. I don't liked it.

This place got a whole new dark painted walls which gave me a hard time finding my way to the VIP area. As I continue to walk, I bumped really hard on this man, who have almost the same height as mine. He got a girl clinging on him and his handling a glass of beer. I can see that they're both drunk. I shrugged them off me and I ascended the stairs. My shoulders have been sore since yesterday from creating pot pieces so that bang hurts a lot.

I was looking for Yi Sook when some random man put his shoulders around me.

"Yah! Yi Jeong, I was looking for you everywhere. I thought you will never come." I recognized that voice and that's a relief.

"Sorry Yi Sook," I said. "I was so engrossed on making pieces earlier. But anyway, happy 12th birthday to you cous!" I jokingly said as I elbowed him on his side.

Yi Sook laughed really hard and he tapped on my chest. "Bro, I missed the good old days." He said while untangling his arms around me.

"Don't be over dramatic, I might cry here." I laughed and punched him on his shoulders.

He laughed again and said "No way! Enjoy the night man." and he walked away. "I'll be entertaining the other guests. Help yourself. See you around!"

I poured some wine over my glass and the DJ started playing some slow, classic jazz music. I don't know what song specifically but I feel like it is a slow dance for lovey-dovey couples. I don't intend to go later than 8 pm, so I sat on one of the bar stool and I enjoyed the moment.

And just when I'm about to go for another shot, I remembered Ga Eul, she was sick and I didn't got the chance to call her earlier. I fished out my phone on my pocket and dialed her phone number. While I'm waiting for my call to connect, her face flashed in my mind.

It was some time, two or three years ago, she was struggling over her Art Appreciation subject. I was driving on the way to my studio when I saw her walking on the side of the road and she was crying hard. I immediately parked my car and rushed over her. I was worried that something bad had happened to her. My brows creased when I saw her sat down and embraced her knees.

I leveled over her, grabbed her arms and help her get up. "What happened Ga Eul-ie?" I said as I put her into my arms. She sobbed over my shoulders and she told me what was wrong. It was her vase. She didn't get the shape of it and she was so tired and desperate to finished it on that day. I found her adorable and I smiled as a sign of a relief that there was nothing serious going on. I faced her and I dried her tears. I put my palms over her face and I said, "You're too pretty to be crying over a vase."

"Jeong-ah," she pouted on me so I grabbed her hand and led her to my car.

"I'll help you on. Don't worry about that vase Ga Eul. You should've ask me for help. You're such a cry baby." I said as I closed the passenger door.
